DEA Admin Appears On Washington Journal

Migrated topic.

Rising Star

Former administrator for the Drug Enforcement Administration, Asa Hutchinson,
debates the issues of drug policy and terrorism with callers. The margin of
callers was something like 10:1, in favor of legalization.

EDIT:
These videos don't seem to be attracting much attention but here's some more
for the ones who like catching in on the action.

Allen St. Pierre vs. John Horton in debate over Colorado/Nevada marijuana
reformation laws.

Allen St. Pierre talks about NORML and marijuana legalization.

NORML debates the morality of drug testing as an invasion of privacy.

NORML discusses benefits of hemp and why it should become legal.

That was difficult to watch the whole thing, but I did. The very last questioner linking the CIA with terrorists was genius. It also seems that the DEA guy has been trained to lie for certain issues and he's an expert at dodging questions.

Caller: "I can't get medication anywhere. When I go to the doctor, he tells me the DEA is on his back and sends me to a pain specialist. And even then it's a hassle to make any progress. I'm not a junkie, I'm a cancer survivor needing the medication prescribed to me."

Hutchinson: "The DEA can't intervene with patient/doctor relationships and cannot cease prescription meds."

Nonetheless, I found this video last night.

It's the same guy, Asa Hutchinson, debating with the Executive Director of NORML,
Allen St. Pierre, with the same call-in setup as the previous video. It also took
place in late 2010, so it's more up-to-date with the present situation.
