Migrated topic.
i once made cannabis leaf salad in the hopes of psychoactive effects without the smell. i did not get high, but it didnt taste that bad haha

Amazing plant, Amazing teacher. She has been with me for most of my life, and I thank her often for that and her teachings. The more I find out about her and her abilities, the more I am amazed, and the more appreciative I become.

Yep it's probably the healthiest vegetable out there and it's illegal.

I met a friend who showed me an amazing cannabis chocolate smoothie. We made a herbal tea from a couple different things, then poured the warm/hot tea into the blender which had cacao powder, cacao butter, young coconut meat, honey, and a couple other powders, plus about 1.7~ grams of high quality cannabis.
We blended that up which resulted in a warm, thick, chocolatey milkshake with a little bit spice from the cannabis! :d
The effects were amazing! like being stoned on edibles, but more clear headed.

Idk, just made me think of this story... Also juicing the cannabis leaves and consuming the raw green juice is super amazing as well. Something I look forward to trying one day.

In raw form Cannabis is not psychactive, no, in fact, the constituents are only psychoactive when heated or cooked.

This is just not true though is it. If you eat enough raw weed, you will get stoned... no? And chewing hash definitely gets you stoned. So something about raw weed is still psychoactive.

It's a matter of absorption. A tincture can be made by steeping buds in vegetable glycerine for an extended period of time and taken sublingually, but eating raw cannabis will have only minor effects since your stomach can't readily digest and absorb water-insoluble THC.

So after the raw cannabis is juiced, can I have the leftover stuff ? And when fred makes bubble hash you can have the water.

The reason why cannabis is not really active orally when raw is because the cannabinoids are in their carboxylic acid form, which are water soluble instead of fat soluble like THC, and dont bind to same receptors.

THC acid decarboxylates releasing CO2, turning gradually to THC with storage, and also with heat of cooking or smoking. If you have some effects from raw cannabis orally, its probably because a small amount had decarboxylated but it definitely is not effective and a lot will probably have been wastedCannabis must be heated to be consuming orally for efficiently having the psychoactive effects.

Seems THC-acid and CBD-acid do have non-psychoactive effects that can have therapeutic value, that are not mediated by cb1 - cb2 receptors.

There is no way you will argue successfully in court that THC-acid is not controlled and therefore raw cannabis is legal. A slight amount of decarboxylation will definitely happen by the time anybody tests (plus GC-MS testing done by authorities will decarboxylate THC). Even if it didnt and you could show its a different molecule, it would def fall under some other precursor/analogue/whatever law. I dont know about USA but I know in several countries, not only is THC itself (and plants containing it) illegal, but also Cannabis sativa itself is listed as controlled.

Raw cannabis tastes like raw blended rats' rectums. It kind of feels that you'll have to be some burned out cannabis fanatic (like the ones who'd advocate intraocular cannabis injections or bulky cannabis enemas) to like the taste.

Is there something in particular in using cannabis as vegetable that makes it stand out compared to other easier sourced vegetables? For instance coca leaves are reported to have unusually high levels of calcium.

So if I buy a quarter of skunk and just eat the whole bag raw, I won't get stoned? :O
You will probably get stoned if you do this. As Endlessness said (in a much more scientific and eloquent way) once cannabis is cured it converts from THCa,CBDa, etc. to their non acid counterparts which are psychoactive. Raw=fresh and uncured, as well as uncooked or heated.

Also there is evidence that THC has a positive effect on cancer! THC and gliomas

you missed to answer my question

or you answered that what cannabis has different from other market's vegetables is that it makes you slightly high, (as opposed to cabbage or cauliflower)?
