I was just wondering, as I haven't seen it posted anywhere that I've looked, if it was ok to talk about this... "chemical"?

I personally love it (in its pure form).
Maybe others have had the pure form?

Well then, I'd like to say.... this is one of my favorite chems. It def. has some some attributes with it. I've literally talked via the mind to someone else who was on my journey with me.

Careful with dxm..as you probably know, it can become very habit forming as it is addictive.

i've had a handful of experiences with it..maybe 3, two years ago..they were definitely interesting. Telepathy seemed to be very apparent between me and another who was tripping as well (it happened to me and him alot back then anyway, so it just seemed to amplify the connection), i can't explain it in the least bit though but it was so fucking bizarre. i've also had some extreme time dilation and some other trippy things like seeing in the dark with my eyes closed.

Overall though it can't touch mushrooms or dmt in any aspect really, imo. I found that i got very little out of it afterward and felt very sketchy and almost depressed the next day.. like i'd taken a long cold path to catch a tails glimpse at something really amazing, only to walk back alone in the cold rain afterward without much notion of what it even was. While with tryptamines its like a loving hand guiding you through your growing process. i swore it off due to the side effects like double vision(sorta lasted into the next day), upset stomach, oh, and the goddam itching! wow! It feels amazing during- but bad after.. especially when you wake up looking like you got mauled by cats all night

swim have it in lab's grade purity and he tried snort it one times,dunno how much..anyway was a really shitty idea couse was painfull and close his nostril for a couple hours and was 'buffered' with mucus by the nose,no effect maybe a little sort of drowzyness.. he should try it orally...

^^ Sorry to hear that DMTX, but yea SWIM'd recommend it orally.

And UniverseCannon, I also had a time I did it. I got pretty bad (with inhalents and many other cheap "highs" as well) but I pulled myself out of it (Thanks Mushrooms) and now I'm doing a lot better. But anyways, did you take it like over the counter medicine? Thats how I did it, I was wondering because I experienced roughly the same side effects as you described.

I would love to learn how to extract the pure dxm... might have to look into that next.

I have mixed feelings towards this drug. High doses are harder on my body than any other drug, but I've only used it in cough syrup form. I'd like to take a dose without having to drink a bottle of cough syrup or two. The cough syrup is so hard on the digestive system.
There was a time in my life when I couldn't drink orange soda or sunny-d, because it reminded me of cough syrup.:lol:

I a big fan of DXM. I buy mine from a RC supplier and it's ridiculously cheap compared to syrups. It's not a psychedelic drug, so comparing it to mushrooms or DMT doesn't really work. DXM is hard on the body but I really enjoy it's effects. I've been all over with this drug, a bunch of 2nd plats, even more 3rd plats and a 4th plat. I love it, but I'm currently taking a "break" from it. By that I mean I'm taking twice the recommended length break (1 week per plat) between each trip. A month for a 2nd plat, 2 months for fourth. I want to lower my tolerance a bit and maybe regain some lost magic before it's too late.

Universe cannon, I don't know where you got the habit forming thing. I couldn't do more than 1 DXM trip a week. In fact, early on I went on a binge doing it twice a week and it kicked my ass up and down the street. It messes with the serotonin levels in your brain and if I use it too often I start to feel sketched out, depressed, I get a sense of impending doom, I say stupid shit and act a little crazy. DXM is not something to abuse on a more than weekly basis from my experience, so I don't see how it can be properly addictive.

Also, if anyone here likes DXM I'd suggest trying it with DMT. It's an interesting combo. I did a second plat about a week ago and smoked 40 mg DMT and it was nuts. A low dose reminded me of salvia. The way that DXM really screws with your short term memory while on it makes the DMT really immersive. You don't remember something exists outside of where you are until it's almost over. It also makes everything feel more solid and real and recognizable. I was in a golden box hanging by a thread in the middle of a white sea of infinity. In it was god, or at least he reminded me of Morgan Freeman playing god, and he showed me a ridiculously long vertical sheet of desert themed plastic fishtank background that was scrolling really fast. Miles and miles of it. It felt like I was flying over a desert, but I was standing in front of it with god standing on the right. It was blissful and beautiful and I loved it. I decided it was awesome and hit it again 30 minutes to an hour later and it was a distinctly uncomfortable experience in this robotic nursing room in a hospital. All these square babies being processed by this awkward robot made up to look like a nurse. Made the rest of the DXM trip uneasy after that. Anyways, it's a neat experience.

DMT does take us to strange places, indeed. I get a lot of things like this, and sometimes it makes me feel absolutely crazy (in the moment). Crazy and helpless. Weird for sure! :shock:

SWIM used to do lots of dxm - little red capsules.

It made them feel almost drunk - it was a better choice than sleeping pills. (Friend)
SWIM had an amazing epiphany on the substance.
They saw a tornado in their room coming from the ceiling into their forehead.
They were incapacitated - writing pages of "random" words.

SWIM never expected it to happen... Wishes they could recreate it though.

scunch- take heed of whats been said re DXM and addiction.It is beyond doubt that some users of it do develop a proper psychological addiction to it but I think theyre a minority for whom the experience really seems to gel with them.Personally I never found it so much of a pleasure to do that addiction was a hazard for me.

If you ever come across ketamine suitable for IM injection then go for it as its a more user friendly and refined kind of psychedelic-dissociative experience than crude but effective DMX (the hydrobromide salt of DXM is the best for oral use IMHO).

Well, I loved it back in the day, as you can read in my short report (https://dmt-nexus.me/fo...spx?g=posts&t=14285). I did get sort of addicted to it, though it's hard to relate to it now. I was in a very different mindset then. I never took any sort of break from it. I used to do it every or every other day. It seemed to give me exactly what I was looking for at the time.
It did however get kind of frightening towards the end when I kept feeling like it was consuming me, rather than I it. And then it gave me a very hard time when I wanted to quit. But it's hard to say if it would be the same way now. I still won't touch the stuff again. My history and self-respect would prohibit it.
I don't recommend doing it, at least not in vast amounts, but I wouldn't really advise against it either. Just be wary of it, it's not to be underestimated.

I'd love to experience K some time too, it sounds like a much more pure dissociation, but DXM certainly does it's job well. I do believe that K is physically addictive though. I don't consider psychological addiction seriously in regards to drug addictions, not because it isn't serious but because it can happen with anything, from video games to DXM to gambling to DMT. Psychological addiction is distinctly different from physical dependency. I don't mean to talk like psychological addiction isn't a serious issue, it's just that it can manifest in nearly anything and is more due to the user than the substance.

edit: Forgot to mention, DXM abuse is really self limiting. Most experienced users will tell you that the more you use it the less fun it becomes. It's not only a tolerance issue, theres some kind of magic that disappears if you use DXM too often. The trips get more and more mediocre, and it seems more physical side effects and less and less tripping.

Well, TBH I never seen any "mediocre trips" using DXM, and I've done it for the most part of 2 yrs... But of course I also drank alcohol on it (I don't know if it had anything to do with it, but I've heard/read somewhere it helps to not "hurt your brain so much?" I dunno if thats true, as now, 3-4yrs after my "escapades" into DXM/Inhalents/Dramamine, I still feel "dumb" at times).

I've only ever done pure DXM once (and this was with someone else telling me it was pure, so I dunno) and would love to be able to make my own for my own experiments.

Good topic. I never new if DXM was addictive but I had alot of experience with K and since those 2 are very similar it wouldn't surprise me. My K tolerance pretty much took the magic outta that. Tried DXM a few times to see if I could get the same experience but it seems like you have to take a crap load to get even close.

I've always wanted to try DXM and do some K while peaking. Any one try that?

I wouldn't recomend cough syrup either. Last time it gave the shits so bad I sharted. lol. Never again.
Little red robo's seem alright but you gotta take like a whole bottle and then some. Probably won't mess with this stuff anymore though. Spice is so much better.
