Hi everyone
So I’ve gone un noticed in here and not really posted much but I finally started with my MHRB extraction.
I’ve literally followed a video off of YouTube and is just a room temp extraction.
100g bark I’ve used but I’m seeing less a yield than I thought I’d get.
Think I’m getting about 0.86g from 100g of bark :/ I thought I might have got more but I guess I’m only just starting so room for improvement.
I tried to use a magnetic stirrer but the soup just gets too thick for the stir bar lol I pinched one of the wife’s jars that had flat bottom instead of the oval shaped flask I was using and the stirrer did do better.
Added the naphtha and I came to realise that it’s a lot lighter than the base and the bar couldn’t pull the naphtha down in to mix it all together so it’s been hand mixing for 5 mins then resting for 4 hours then repeat. Into a dish with lid and freeze for 12 hours, I did try leaving it to freeze for longer but nothing much more came out.
Done a few pulls from each run and done 3 runs in total to give me about 2.6g in total
Anyways I just thought I’d just jump in and get it all out for people to help where I may be going wrong.
