Dissolve wit warm IPA and let evapoarte on a much smaller dish?

Hi... swin made a little experiemtn, with only 25 gr bark. and 2 pulls in 48 hr,, after Freezeprecip and letting the naphta drop out, i placed it upside down in a fridge, not used for food.. left the door open and had a fan in front of it..

putcome is just a waxy layer on the grouuund now..
is it possible to use some ipa, warm it in a waterbath dissolve everything in the dish, and drop it on a glas dish,for evaporating??, or do i really have to do a complete Re-xtrallisation???

Sounds like what happened was that the crystals reabsorbed into the little bit of solvent that was still there and dripped down. I would just scrape up the waxy stuff, put some solvent in there and do another recrystallization.

I usually leave the jar in the fridge for a day after I pour off the solvent to let it fully evaporate. So that the crystals don't start melting right after I take it out of the fridge. And then I fan dry for a day or two.
