Well, as with any other inquiry, semantics play a huge role in bringing light to our mutual understanding. So for myself, each molecule has unique aspects of ease and difficulty. Both medicines bring up a certain degreee preflight jitters just krior to lift off. The body load with 5-MeO is gentle and less explossive. The taste of the vapor is kinder, as well.
Nn-DMT fires to witness through a kaleidoscopic cannon and from my 50+ journeys, a good deal of the experience can be recalled in vivid detail. But 5-MeO-DMT takes the pilgrim beyond the field of subjective observation and that can terrify some travelers. Recalling the details presents a problem for many folks, as within the immense vacuum of the nondual field, one's individuation dissolves like an Alkaseltzer tablet in a glass of water. That said, just prior to the peak and immediately upon returning to personal self, there is a treasure trove of illumination and profound healing from the afterglow.
The visuals with Nn are far, far more dynamic and the sonic frequencies heard are more pronounced, especially the carrier wave phenomenon. 5-MeO reliably brings my attention to the fringes of the Divine state, that immersion into the Clear Light of The Void , although one's ego becomes ignited within such an immense fulcrum. All that remains, after the dissolution is the singularity of The One. No entities, no machine elves nor any angelic guides. Many people completely whiteout and remember nothing of the peak, but on my 12 epic voyages, there lingers a remembrance of the eclipsing. And while the quantifiable details of such an ineffible shift are impossible to describe properly, there is a certain deep saturation, if you will, a realignment inside of every iota of one's being, which generates a glorious rebirthing process.
I have imbibed DMT changa a few times and freebase DMT since my initiation with 5-MeO, and the experience has changed dramatically. This is true with psilocybin mushrooms, too. The visuals have become secondary to the unitive sensation, in a far more 5-MeO like way. I'm certain that in time this will be fading away. In my humble perspective, both molecules induce great spiritual insights and each teacher can lift one into a nonafide Samadhi experience. Yet, with Nn you witness the glorious chrysanthemum in an enraptured merging, while 5-MeO is more akin to death and there's a temporary erasure of subjective observations of any kind. Each medicine changed my life in such profound ways that it's challenging to go into great detail and keep the descriptive coherent. Perhaps we might start an enriching dialog?
