DMT and Language

Migrated topic.

Jin

yes
How has spice influenced your linguistic ability to articulate and use language more effectively ?
from hearing terrence mckenna's accounts of elves teaching him a language and others who have said that it influences language centers in the brain i've come to this question , having no idea how to answer this question i came to the point in time where i had to write this post so as i might find a way to satisfy my curiosity.
i've had a considerable leap in my linguistic ability since i started using psychadelics a few years back however i am very new to spice , so i would like to ask my Nexian friends if their linguistic abilities have been influenced by spice ? have they recieved Alien Syntax ? Are the elves teaching a new way to communicate ? has this happened to anyone ? anyone with superpowers of language ? :d
i've read several books about this subject , and if you guys are familar with such words as Reframing , NLP , Anology , pacing , Context ,Intonation and so forth you know what i am talking about . i've alwas been very interested in this subject and would appreciate any views from my fellow explorers .

Interesting question, sorry I can't help here.
DMT-induced information floods (and cutoffs): yes; but language effects as you describe it: no, at least not yet... but many more journeys to go!

Language has left me frustrated about its shortcomings to express the DMT-catalysed state of consciousness properly. It's just impossible to describe...

The biggest change in communication for me, since beginning the psychedelic journey, involve bringing non-verbal communication, across a variety of levels (intention, body-language, tonality, tempo,.) into conscious awareness and engaging them as languages in their own right. So I would say that they have extended linguistic consciousness to other domains. Most of my communication with hyperspace entities has involved visual-affective objects that deliver a message of multiple layers upon impact.

Have not noticed myself becoming a better speaker/writer as a result of psychedelic practice. Perhaps McKenna just engaged with many more great wordsmiths than myself, so when the hyperconscious integration occurred, he had it all there waiting for him.

During my experience I was spoken to in a way that was not English I understood them, but I cannot say I know the language. However, as far as auditory changes go, I have begun to pick up frequencies, vibrations, tones, and a general keen listening observation. Esp. around SWIM who seems to have gained a physical something more than any of our "clan"/"tribe"/"family"

Hi Jin,

I have had some language enhancing effects since beginning my work with the spice, though not as profound as what you mention.

What happened was something opened up in my head all of a sudden. It felt like inspiration. Or perhaps possession. It was powerful shit, whatever it was.

I am a 41 year old woman who has made several attempts within my lifespan to write books. The best I had been able to complete was 1/2 of a sci-fi novel taking place in 2120. Everything else puttered out or just became too difficult to finish.

I began working with the spice and this inspiration thing hit. I began to write again. For the first time in about 12-13 years. The writing was the most effortless, least painful of my life. Even though I was digging into some very deep and dark spaces.

Well, after 45 spice-drenched days, I had a 275 page book. At this point it is well over 350 pages and essentially complete. I am editing and editing and editing. Check this out: I haven't been using the spice much these past few months and lo and behold not only am I no longer doing much writing, but the editing is becoming difficult and burdensome . . .

Oh, and one more thing. Without exception, regardless of the content of the experience, the few days after a spice journey leave me with a twisted and pun-filled sense of verbal humor that delights both the adults and the pre-verbal children around me. After a few days of abstention, this phenomenon dies into the background.

Hope this helps.

Peace & Love,
Pandora

Pandora, would love to see this book sometime soon!

and in relation to learning new languages, id just like to say: hsuel liukeg qungtion dflient!

It has taught me that there are alternative, more profound methods of communicating information rather than through linguistic mediums alone.

I talk less. I know now that often I should keep my mouth shut because the people around will not understand what I'm talking about or they misunderstand me. I'm just thinking about things of a very bizarre nature most of the time and it just doesn't fit into any conversation I have with "normal" people that I'd rather like to call "sleeping people".

"Normal people" don't talk much about the properties of Hyperspace or the possibilities of the Multiverse :p hehe

Humans on spice can articulate their thoughts perfectly,
flowing their "highest self" like never before.
People talking on spice is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard in my entire life...
the precision is breath taking!

thanks for the replying to the post guys , your views deeply resonate with me
lately i've been thinking Language to be a much diverese subject than words and i am not talking about intonation, meaning or bodylanguage , i mean the way i've been always communicating with my dog i can totall understand him just by looking at him , even with humans its not very hard to know what they are thinking , 70 times out of 100 i always know , i can feel it sometimes see it clearly it is very strange to describe
however in simple words its like looking at a painting and understanding the meaning the artist is trying to convey ( this i believe is Visual Language )
, music is also understandable even without lyrics if you only notice the emotions it produces
i believe it is important for us to understand language and its diversity as much possible for this will allow us to shape our own conscioussness and reality also changing the world with it hopefully
thankfully hyperspace lexicon is in the right direction
please post your views on this subject , its very meaningful to me and produces a much evolved idea of this subject

On many occasions I have had noticed an increased ability to articulate when coming back from a deep psilicybin trip. The DMT experience leaves me shook up and speachless. As far as language and the words that make up language is concerned, I think this Aldoux Huxley quote sums it up well.
Words, words, words! They shut one off from the universe. Three quarters of the time one's never in contact with things, only with the beastly words that stand for them.
-Aldous Huxley

well i dont know if that i can atribute it to the spice...but i have most definatly have improved my language as that i now speak three languages...when i first smoked dmt i experienceed the language of the elves...i knew that i was in for a wild ride but i never expected what happened, i felt as if i had been sucked backwards down a silly tiwisted straw into a place where crystaline palaces rained down, transmuting and reforming and i somehow knew the geometric shapes were sentenient...i was going to say something in utter suprise but instead a spontanious outpouring of didgerydo-like syntax erupted from my mouth taking on a form of its own and utterly enthralled i kept"talking" not wanting to forget this language...as if i were talking in some aleign tounge
i has happenened to to me several times and for me nothing is more rewarding, but i still dont have the ability to express what it was:shock:

I have noticed a distinct clarity to my word choices and improved verbal articulation of ideas. I attribute it to spice for sure. I feel as a teacher i am able to explain abstract concepts in a more concise manner. This stuff is truly amazing

You know, I think I understand what you mean. I'm not much of a talker either, because what's generally on my mind has no place in 95% of the conversations most people engage in. I wouldn't call your thoughts bizarre, just rare--which is a good thing. That's why you're here; you can vent your uncommon thoughts with other esoteric thinkers, such as myself. My friend, people like you and I are the true movers and shakers of reality. If we don' take the time to immerse ourselves in such unconventional and creative thought patterns, however seemingly crazy, retarded, or absurd as general society would have you believe they are, who will?
