I have noticed that psychedelic use is not prominent among well educated individuals....most likely because they have been brainwashed that psychedelics are "drugs" and nothing productive can come of taking them.
Really? The Nexus itself has several PhD scientists, an MD doctor, several others with masters degrees and a whole host of people who are either still in college or freshly out of college.
I'd actually go so far as to say that I see the educated psychedelic users, using them in much more productive way's than those of lessor education. OF COURSE THIS IS JUST A GROSS GENERALIZATION. I feel like the nexus is pretty much proof that the psychedelic community is pretty diverse.
But seriously...plenty of educated people use them. We just keep it on the D/L and don't let it effect our jobs in the 'real' world.
BTW What stops you from getting an education and getting out of retail if you want to? I'm not sure where you live, but in most western countries if you really want to go to college you can get grants or loans (I racked up 50K getting my PhD...it was WELL worth it). It's never to late either. I didn't start college until 22...and I was there full time for 8 years. I am now far better off than if I had not made that decision.
I will say though that psychedelics are capable off opening your mind to more creative options...though they may not seem realistic by societies standards, for example LSD made me want to become a rock star....Now I'm not one by a long shot, but the idea and dream is still enjoyable to persue.
The biggest difference between those that become rock stars and those that don't is that most rocks stars believed they could. Maybe rock star is a bad example, but you can certainly take many different paths in life. Money and finance are a hurdle that many use as an excuse, but there isn't anything stopping someone with enough courage and will power.
BTW Yes I'm generalizing. Obviously people with serious health or mental problems are not on a level playing field. I'm not talking to them though. I'm talking to someone that I can tell is very educated from his posts here. Pick a path in life that makes you happy and go that direction friend. Just believe you can and then do it.
After all one thing psychedelics have certainly shown me is that our potential is essentially unlimited....in fact the only limit really is our own self doubt.
