DMT Infusion

In "Inner Paths to Outer Space" it is very briefly mentioned by Dr. Strassman that one particular avenue of further research would be the prolonged infusion of DMT (assuming the fumarate). In addition, Dr. Nichols also mentions that aside from PET scans of the brain on DMT, that a prolonged moment of inebriation would be beneficial for studies attempting to solicit information from hyperspace.

I have personally been wondering the same thing.
What happens when you put someone on an IV of DMT Fumarate?

Here are some questions I have:
What is the metabolic rate of consumption of DMT?
Would the infusion rate have to be equivalent to the metabolic rate to maintain a "hyperspace" awareness?
What physiological problems would one encounter? (i.e. tachycardia, hypertension, etc)

Probably most important, would this work in maintaining the hyperspace state?

While I have read extensively on ayahuasca, psilocin, and LSD-25, I believe Dr. Nichols best states that the mystical experience is unreliably produced by these materials (though this is not ALWAYS the case). On the other hand, a given dosage and ROA of DMT will "get you there" very "reliably".

What are your thoughts on this?

WOW! I didn't know the neurosoup girl was affiliated with Skinner!!! And I didn't know any of this stuff about Skinner AFTER Pickard was arrested. Very wild. Thank you for that information.

Thanks for the link evil804! I'm so glad I didn't miss this interview as I didn't really know any of the background of the Leonard bust or the ensuing events. I find her Neurosoup videos to be pure Americana.
