DMT melted - should I add naphtha again and freeze?

I've always been confused by this ordeal.

As soon as I took the freeze-preciptated dish out of the freezer, I placed a fan on it and let it dry. I saw a lot of white powder about five minutes in. And then I came back an hour later, and all that was left was this clear, grease residue on the dish. I'm assuming it melted before it could dry.

So should I add the naptha I poured out, freeze again, and repeat with the fan even closer? Before, I had the fan about three feet away. I guess this time I'll have it one foot away??

Also, how are people completely evaporating by room temperature, when it's melting like this? Is it because they live in colder places? I'm in Los Angeles, and the average temp here year round is 80-90.

EDIT: So far the suggestions from those I've inquired are vastly different... I'm confused as to which one is the right way to go...

1) Water contamination. I'm instructed to redissolve in warm naphtha and then perform three washes with just distilled water. <--- the concern with this method is that I've already performed the sodium carbonate wash + 2x wash with just filtered water. By the last wash with the filtered water, the naphtha was so clear, it was very difficult to make out the line that separated naphtha and water. I don't know how I'm supposed to wash it 3X with distilled water when I imagine the naph and water will be virtually indistinguishable at this point.

2) Just let it sit around for a week and scrape up the goo.

Hey mate, I just did my first ever extraction on ACRB using the same tek and ran into a very similar issue. I am by no means experienced, but have done a lot of reading and with the help of a few forum members was able to yield pretty much pure white fluffy spice.
After my first freeze precip I dumped the naptha and propped my dish against a wall so the fan was blowing directly into the dish (on high). Underneath my crystals was a translucent layer of goo (which became stickier the longer I dried it), for the first hour the crystals on the bottom of the dish looked like the ones you posted in the pic (starting to re-dissolve into the goo). After leaving in front of the fan for 4-5 hours the goo thickened up a lot and the crystals became much more pronounced. At this stage I scraped it as best I could, leaving me with slightly yellowy/beige lumps of crystalline wax. I then did a re-x on the wax leaving a thick yellow oil in the bottom of my container, mind you this goo looked 100% translucent in the precip dish just as yours does. When I did my second freeze precip I was left with fluffy white crystals with a couple of small lumps caused by a tiny ammount of this residual plant fat/nmt/whatever.
I seriously doubt this is caused by moisture if it is the same issue I ran into. These impurities must be removed and simply re-dissolving and precipitating will end in the same result.
Anyways best of luck buddy, I hope this is helpfull 😁
