Hi!
I'm new in this forum and in the DMT world (I went to a yage session a few months ago. I haven't understood the whole experience yet  ).

My first question here is about the N-oxide.
I`ve already read this thread DMT N-Oxide to Freebase DMT - Advanced/Enhanced chemistry - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus , but I still have lots of questions about it:

1- N-oxide dose is the seame as DMT freebase (with an oxygen added to the molar mass) ??

2- does the trip with N-oxide last longer ?

3- N- oxide is less painfull if taken intranasally yhn DMT free base or any DMT salt?

4- Due to the water solubility of the n-oxide, Can it be absorbred orally or sublingually??

5- If you ad preoxide to a DMT salt, does it converts to DMT N-oxide or remains in the salt form?

6- How can you know if the n-oxide is soluble in other solvents like varsol (white spirit, an aliphatic mix (could it have the same properties as naphta??). It`s really cheap and easy to find in my country...), butyl alcohol, isobutyl alcohol, turpetine, chlorobenzene, toluene, xylene, and specially in chloroform?

7- What is the N-oxide b.p. ??

8- in your opinion, what differences can you find between DMT and DMT N-oxide?

mmm well I think that's all

Thank you.

1 - YES.
2 - YES, about 2-3 times longer with a slower onset.
3 - I don’t know, probably so.
4 - YES.
5 - I don’t think that works. I think you need freebase DMT.
6 - The solubility of DMT N-oxide is not well known. It is soluble in DCM and chloroform though, for sure. It’s soluble in water. It’s insoluble in heptane and naphtha for sure.
7 - Don’t know.
8 - DMT N-oxide is a much more friendly experience, not as forceful and “in your face” as DMT can be. It gives you more control over the experience. Its like a softer, gentler form of DMT. The only problem is that it’s very sticky and difficult to use because of that.

Wow 69ron. Thanks!! You were really fast :D

I think I have some new questions :P
mmm....Welll, its oraly active but if you take a MAOI it would enhance the effects, right??
Is 2-3 times longer no matter what method of administration you use?

If someone have more information about the solubility, knows the bp, or have taken it intranasally I would very glad with you if you share your information.

Thank you again :D

I'm sorry, I answered number 4 wrong. It's active sublingually for sure. But orally without an MAOI? Probably not. But I don't know for sure.

I think orally with an MAOI it's about the same duration as DMT, but smoked or taken sublingually, it's 2-3 times longer lasting.

I thought we were reading some reports that said that DMT N-Oxide was slightly soluable in heavy naphtha?

Is that right? From what I read it's insoluble in naphtha, but just how "insoluble" was not mentioned.

Has anyone tested its solubility in naphtha and got actual solubility numbers from it? If it's less than 1% then that would be considered "insoluble" by most.
