DMT noob.

My friend has been wanting to try DMT for almost a year now and finally ...... The only thing is he doesnt know the method to smoke it and sure as hell doesnt want to waste any of it on trying. The pieces he has are for pot, he has a mini bubbler, a hammer, a glass pipe, a hookah and some one-hitters.

Would any of these methods suffice for DMT smoking for my friend? All help is much appreciated.
 
Here at the nexus we don't agree with buying or selling dmt. Its very easy to make yourself and much cheaper. You never know what your getting unless you make it yourself.

Id say you have 2 options:

The sandwich method where you load a bit of ash or leafy herbs like mullein. Put dmt on top off it and then another layer of ash or herbs. Light the top herbs and try to use the cherry to burn the rest.

Or you can infuse the dmt onto a smokable herb. Pau d'arco is sold as a tea in health food stores/ vitamin shops and adds a wonderful touch. Learn all about enhanced leaf and changa HERE
 
I appreciate the links to the other section of the forums, but instead of searching for someone else's post + answers, I'd rather just get a direct answer to my original question of which (if any) of the pieces my friend has would work for him.

Well, alot of these questions have been aswered plenty times before. People tend not to repeat thenselves too many times.
The links you were directed to are really usefull.

You need to make atleast a bit of an effort to look around the forum before posting questions that have been asked before.
 
Instead of pushing someone to browsing, why not just answer the simple question:

mini bubbler
glass pipe
hammer
hookah


which one (if any) would work well for DMT
 
I don't know what a hammer or a hookah is, and "glass pipe" is pretty vague. Is your glass pipe a freebase pipe? A normal weed pipe made of glass? Maybe even a GVG? See, the research goes both ways.

It sounds like you haven't made the efforts to get informed before deciding to take this ride. The best thing you can do for yourself is read, read, read, and collect opinions and experiences. You want to go into it feeling like you've covered your bases and you're ready. I don't doubt your experience or determination, but if you succeed, this _will_ be intensely new. Get interested.

The consensus seems to be around the GVG. Failing that, The Machine or a bong with a sandwich or enhanced leaf. Failing that, I would say either bubbler or glass pipe with sandwich or enhanced leaf, but I think you'll have to experiment.

Out of those I posted pictures of are the options my friend has. I figured maybe the hammer would be a good option with no water in the chamber. But I can see how the bubbler would also maybe work.
 
I think if you dont get the vaporgenie, which is qualitatively different due to the ceramic filter and effective vaporization, if you try any of the other options, I think the real key is in how you heat it up. DMT is not like weed or salvia that you have to go strong on the lighter to really combust. With DMT you need to keep the lighter as far as possible so that just enough hot air is coming to vaporize DMT but not combust (which would degrade DMT and taste horribly harsh). Thats why some people use an ash or herb sandwhich to help protecting dmt. In any case remember to go easy on the lighter
