DMT is not an accident......

This is most likely in the wrong place as I have not yet fully figured out the forum. I apologize if this is not the right place for this post.

1) Is it possible that the pervasive existence of DMT in almost all living things and the profound effects of DMT on Humans suggest that DMT is not here by accident, happenstance and perhaps a gift. Despite my agnosticism based on the lack of proof or evidence to support the existence of God, when it comes to DMT I can't help but be thankful and rationalize that if it isn't here by accident then it must be a gift and tool available to all

So I am fairly new to DMT (First extract about a 2 months ago and unfortunately wasted significant amounts while attempting to perfect/improve my MOA "Method of Administration". Additionally, I consider myself to be agnostic, primarily due to my acknowledgement and belief that i) There is no objective evidence to prove God exists and ii)if there is a God, it isn't the one of the many I believe humans have created but something most likely incomprehensible to mere mortals.

Although still agnostic after having a breakthrough that I could only describe as a "religious experience", I have concluded the pervasive existence of DMT in almost all living things on the planet and the profound effects of DMT, suggest to me that DMT is not here by accident or chance. Although I find it impossible to prove the existence of a God, I can't help but believe that DMT is a gift and tool. Some might call this a double standard

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated even if you tell me I'm a jackass

don't be a jackass.

jk.
IIRC, the late Dr. Shulgin postulated that over time, humans may have evolved "filters", i.e. metabolic pathways which favored production of other metabolites over DMT, as a means of self-preservation, a defense mechanism to block out extraneous sensory input that may otherwise get us killed. It may actually be a gift that we were not programmed to trip 24/7.

You know what I find interesting? How oblivious you were to that idea before you took the drug. Rationality somehow blocks our thinking and conceptualizing of alternative belief systems, belief systems which given the right attendance & propagation (intellectually) can produce dramatic perspective shifts. I believe these perspective shifts could in turn make you and the human race a lot more content in doing there 9-5 slave work, though this is obviously neglected on the premise that it may give rise to insecure delusions that might shatter the fabric of capitalist economy.

why should the existence of dmt sway one's notion of what to believe in? dmt is no more miraculous, no more of a gift, than we ourselves or the fact consciousness exists to begin with. why do we take so much for granted, yet when something appears to be a spike in reality, such as dmt, we think wow look at this?

whether one believes in god or pure chance and evolution, or even a combination of both, one outstanding fact comes into play... all needs are catered for. Darwin encountered a flower with deep formation and postulated that there must be some critter specially built to get into it for nectar... one later revealed itself. Man has an innate curiosity for consciounsess, on one hand we have meditation and contemplation, on the other molecules... so you can look at anything from both sides of the fence and explain things, but ultimately you'll just prove the fence is there... might be all in your mind but it's there unifying duality.

Not sure if you were calling me out for being a jackass or reminding me not to do so in the future. After reading my post, one thing is for sure....I will hold off on late night slightly less than sober postings.

"The Universe is the Flesh of God." There is your evidence, there is your proof. The Divine is hiding in plain sight: Dazzle Camouflage. It's a matter of shifting your perspective from the religious brainwashing that "god" (I rarely use that word due to its religious connotations) is an external being with a recognizable form to a view that includes All Being, EVERYTHING--the wolf, the worm, the grain of sand, as bits and pieces of the divine.

hehe i was just kidding, and have done my share of late-night buzz posts. the theory i posted is a plausible one, because the tryptophan metabolic pathway favors serotonin over dmt.
