DMT on the tongue?

Hello everyone! I'm very new to posting in the Nexus although i have been using it as a well of information for about a year now. SWIM has not done DMT yet although he is in the process of making some. He was wondering if it was possible to put some freebase DMT on his tongue and let it melt or sit in his mouth? I assume he would need an MAOI if it was possible.
Any ideas? If it is possible what would be the correct dosage?

I don't think that would be possible as I don't think freebase DMT would be absorbed(I think it needs to get into the bloodstream, lungs or stomach). I don't think it would be absorbed into the skin(like LSD), however it would probably slip down your throat and still have an affect.

I don't think it would be dangerous to test this, however it might taste bad. I would start with a small dose 5-15 mg.

Yes you can do it. Some people call it mucosahuasca. It is not a very popular method because it will taste horrible, it will burn and numb your tongue. It's very uncomfortable for the half hour or so required. And, saliva has maoi's in it as well, so that will break down the dmt somewhat. You'll probably swallow some of it too, as your mouth will quickly fill with saliva. Some people have moderate success with it. I don't hear much about any strong experiences with this method. 69ron was a crazy bastard with his dosing methods, and was able to tolerate sublingual methods, but most people don't like.
 
That's interesting, I never thought it would work that way. So you must let it disolve in salivia for awhile for it to have any affect?
 
Oh okay, that's too bad. Thank's for the input though, I wouldn't have wanted to try it and have my tongue go numb.
 
yeah it will definitely burn a bit. It would be much easier in my opinion to just mix it in some orange juice and swig it real fast
 
It can be done, but it's not pleasant or very effective. DMT fumarate is more pleasant than freebase which burns membranes something fierce. Dosages will be in the 100-200+mg range, though, and difficult to administer properly. You don't want it to dissolve in your saliva at all, you want to dry your mouth out a bit and spread it over as much surface area as possible against your membranes (it will make your mouth water, though). You're better off using it with some MAOIs for ayahuasca or vaporizing it.
