DMT Poetry

[permanomad]

Feel free to post some words that have meaning for you when it comes to the DMT/tryptamine experience!

Backwards we break in to this space again;
What shall we find, loot or use to behave
In the Hall of the Real, the Dome of the Sane
Where the magic of chance will conjure the game?

The arms and the legs flail all around
While the shadows of scriptures and feelings abound
I cannot remember the feel of my face
While the thunder of heartbeating slows to snails pace

The taste of my dreaming floods down my spine
The faintest of pressures in organs aligns
Something is visiting, playing with hope
And while I lie here for minutes, eternity elopes.

Flooded in silence and shrouded with sparks
The vision of peacefulness dances in dark
No questions are answered or conflicts raised,
And again I awake to the light, slightly dazed.

Here's a funny little limerick I wrote a while ago -

There once was a man called Dimitri
Who thought he’d try some DMT
Through the vortex he’d stray
As the elves said hooray
And the Faberge eggs were aplenty

Once under the light of the dome
His thought was, “I want to go home”
His perception of self
Was transformed by an elf
And his pants were pulled down by a gnome

“Pay attention and watch what we do”
He thought “Damn! I must be dead too”
Sung in to existance
Came jewelled gifts in the distance
The elves turned and exclaimed “deja vous!”

He began to wake at long last
The whole thing had been pretty fast
He was no longer there
Slumped in his chair
He had disappeared up the hole in his arse

Here's a little thingemy I wrote after just returning from a very odd out of body experience (combination of LSD and NO2) - it made a lot more sense to me at the time

His head lolls back
His eyes close, his
Mind opens, an image
Of himself, a ghost
Stands slowly, again,
Ethereal projection
Becomes opaque, vision
flickers between worlds,
His head turns, which?
He must not see.

During a breakthrough, I wrote this anthem, which will save all of humanity:

Unfortunately, I'd had forgotten what language was when I wrote it, so I guess humanity's going to have to find another way to save itself . . .

Thats an unbelievably profound message.
God save humanity!

But seriously - I liked this.

[MomentOfTruth]

This is sort of a post DMT ramble. Never really tried to tidy it up. It seemed to work well enough on its own. Just sort of a reflection.

Emerging from the astral cave,
I am Plato in your hands.
Drop the chisel and the rasp,
there are molecules for sculpting souls.

Infinity, a breath away,
expose the veil's fragility.
With open eyes, and open heart,
Hear the whispers, hear the spectral speak.

Exo-skeletal remains,
breaking free, piece by piece.
Abandoning these worldly planes,
carving out an existential niche.

Transmigration of the psyche,
everything is looking like me.
Consciousness and matter muddle,
Different droplets, unified in same puddle.

I am he, as you are he
as you are me, and we are all together.
Can you help me find the necessary tools?
Sacred molecules for sculpting souls.
