Dmt prolonged technique

In a website http://deoxy.org/gz_howy.htm at step 10 it mentions using dmt during the peak of an acid trip would prolong its effects for several hours, i want to try this but really want to know if why and how this works, i am very skeptical but in my opinion if it were to work i would think the extra dmt fuel when your 3rd eye is open (during a trip) prolongs the peak, i have always thought a peak was your mind realeasing its natural dmt supply and thats why its the best part and since in a trip you are primed for that dmt realease adding a huge amount more somehow gives you hours of peaking. Dmt stays in small amounts up to an hour in your system, that is the standard toleranace time but tripping seams to exponentiolly bring out its effects.

I actually tried it a couple days ago. The DMT certainly felt more potent than usual, but not overwhelming. It was actually a very heavenly feeling that I don't really get with DMT by itself. The DMT itself seemed to last the usual duration and then I was back to tripping acid. If anything I think it helps to draw out the acid trip because I smoked it many times throughout the trip, and while coming down when the acid trip seemed to be over, if I smoked DMT I would trip acid harder for another hour or so, but the DMT would wear off predictably after 5-10 minutes.
