Hi to all,

I've finally found a DMT provider, and plan on taking it the second time.
The 'purpose' of me taking DMT is to find Truth/answers/enlightenment/realizations/whatever... In simple words: For 'self development'

Anyways, what do you think is the difference when breaking through while around people?
I have a friend who might want to take it with me, and I am very comfortable with friends and strangers.

How about 2 or 3 people tripping at the same time with no sitter? I've only tried DMT once but haven't broken through. T would consider myself quite knowledgeable with psychedelic substances,,,, although my first experience with a psychedelic substance was less than a year ago.. I experimented quite a bit:d

Anyways, I don't remember the purpose of this post, I'm just excited and feeling euphoooooric:lol: . And I'm not completely sober right nowww. So share your first experiences with breakthroughs or talk about interesting topics and how to flip the nutella pancake without sticking the nutella to the pan.

It can be no good if there is anyone there who is disrespectful, loud or can't be quite while other people are under....you don't want to be stuck listening to joe and suzy talk about their work while your under the influence of DMT.

If everyone can be nice and quite while your under it's cool, but if not, it can be like being woken up prematurely from a nice dream over and over.

It can be challenging for everyone to be quite, with all the sneezing, coughing, farting etc that can potentially take place during the 5-10 minutes each person will be under.

I perfer crepes or crispy waffles to pancakes...

i prefer breaking through solo, so to me this sounds undesirable, but to each their own.

also as far as nutella pancakes go, i would try copious amounts of butter (or oil)

I also prefer going solo, but I was with my brother and his girlfriend on my first breakthrough and it went well. I had previously explained to them the basics of DMT and the importance of a quiet peaceful setting, and they respected that.

If you go far enough, you may interpret noises as coming from the trip itself.

off topic: nice profile pic, Eliyahu. I have actually seen that painting in person at a Dali exhibition.

Both of these guys have already taken DMT and are definitely 'mature' enough not to do silly things, and will respect the trip.

I always like to have my first try of a new substance with someone else. It's always nice to have a fellow tripper with you on any substance, so you can talk about it and share the experience.

I just answered my own question.
Awesomesauce

I'm a very social person at times, but DMT is best experienced alone, or with one other person I truly care about. Sometimes vibes from strangers become too intense for me while in trance.

I can imagine it being uncomfortable with actual strangers, who are 'egotistic' , in lack of better words. I believe that while one is tripping, the people witnessing it should mind their own business unless the tripper calls the sitter to come over.

My issue is I feel comfort from someone being there while I dose. But once I am in I sometimes feel judged or observed which has hindered my ability to breakthrough on lower doses. STILL tryin to talk myself into going big or going home.

But no talking is a must. I found having a quiet fan on helps to drown out any small sounds and actually helps drown out the intense silence I feel while in.

It does seem like it would be easier to go further alone. I would just say which ever you feel more relaxed (that will allow you to go deeper). Be safe though and more importantly be smart.

Anything within your immediate environment whilst smoking is going to contribute in some way to your mental framework in the seconds leading up to. For me, any number of people seem to ground me in particular ways...so normally I just have everyone leave the room/area and return once I'm up n' walking. I've always went further this way.

And people talking right before/during is a big no-no. Unless your in a sweet drum circle of some kind. :)

Although I agree that journeying alone is the best way to go when wanting to go far... I also can recommend that tripping with other like-minded psychonauts can be very interesting and mind expanding IF (keyword) they are in the same mental framework and respect as YOU. If those that are tripping with you are very close, even some family (as in my case), and they understand what is about to take place then I say go for it. My experience with this is... once coming back, my co-pilots are ready to engage in some of the most eloquent, well thought out, world changing, idea shifting, most pleasant conversations I've ever had the pleasure of being involved in... these conversations can last for hours and can lead to re-dosing just for the sheer amazement of THAT moment... when I say THAT moment I mean the moment where everyone in the room reaches their peak simultaneously and you can almost FEEL that energy tidal wave flood the whole room with warmth.

But as stated before... alone and you are GOOOOOOOONNNNNEEEEEE but with the right people present then you can have just as an amazing time than without people there.

Oh yeah...

The "rules" for social engagement with DMT

1. Cut ALL phones off. That includes house phones as well as cell phones

2. No talking once the countdown begins... the countdown begins when I ask... "Now is everyone ready? Know your intentions... I thank God for this experience that is taking place! I wish everyone a safe trip.." and it's on after that

3. Laughing, noises or what have you, are ok once tripping. Sometimes you just can't help it when you are in hyperspace but try not to be a "nuisance" while in there. Try to keep some control.... that means NO YELLING... no obvious TOUCHING if the person on the receiving end does not want to be touched... absolutely NO VIOLENCE...

4. Try and wait until everyone is back before talking... I've had times where I was deep into a trip that was truly profound and I got a bit emotional. Well while riding that last bit of energy I could hear people talking around me. I opened my teary eyes, looked left and then right, and proceeded to tell everyone in the room to be quiet. I still was feeling the wave and needed to fully ingest what I was being given and everyone in the room respected that even though they were not really in the wrong. It wasn't like they were talking about crazy stuff, they were talking about their trip but the noise distracted me at the time.. and they understood that.

5. Understand that those that are partaking in the sacred molecule must do so with GOOD intentions. I share with others for the experience not for the recreational value. To me DMT is a tool and I take it very seriously. That's not to say I don't have fun with my trips but I keep my respect level for DMT very high and it will remain so until I'm no longer here.

There are more little sub-rules but those are basically the main ones.
