I just started consuming it about a week ago. The first few times were absolutely amazing. I did it once a day.
Then one night I wanted to do quite a big bowl expecting to travel down vortexes and **** but instead everything seemed to freeze and get all tacky and laggy. Everything seemed so static, it was like nothing was flowing. Like a rolling cube, a magnetic cubic dissonance, incongruity. .
Not pleasant, I don't think my mind wants to experience anything. And also it felt I'd lose all sense of who I was or what I was or even where I was. Everything that I'd ever felt I was holding onto would be like a cloud of nothingness, or what I was ever worrying about.. The first couple times I was just with it and it felt great. Not so much anymore... :!:
It's not traumatic or anything, It's just odd.

I've never heard anything similar experiences. It seems like everyone else flows pretty well with it. I guess I'm rejecting it some how. It all freezes up..

and yea I won't do it anymore, or never as often if it leads to this garbage.

I get the same static nothingness after dosing too often
Usually a very uncomfortable bodyload accompanies it.

I wait quite a while between doses these days and spend more time on integration of the experience.

Hey friend, I've taken a lot of breaks from entheogens. Like I've said before they are tools, you wouldn't go turning pipe fittings under your sink if nothing needed to be fixed right? So I think with plants and with me at least, I found myself using them just to be using them, daily. A lot of the meanings get lost in that path, that's why its so important to find our intentions first. I've been free of any mood altering substances for about 19 months and just started inching my way back in. The fear of repeating some of my past trips can be overwhelming, but also the thought of the beauty, and even what I learned from the frightening ones is enough encouragement that I will again, and for me probably sooner than later. Just take the good with the bad friend and never say never.

Doing it every day can be too much . It will turn sour on you fast . You need to take breaks

Trips evolve. If you don't take the time to integrate, and evolve your waking consciousness with it, there is no frame of reference. You become lost inside the trip and it is only confusing and awkward.

Yep, sounds like DMT. The weirdness will only grow with increased use, so you might want to think about that extensively before going back in again. Processing (integration) is extremely important with these things, as others have stressed. Tripping each day will prevent you from doing that, since you'll always have new data, above the old unprocessed information. This could get nasty at some point, so please adjust your intentions, for your own benefit.

What is the nastiest outcome we're talking about here? If someone were to do dmt every day or more than their fair amount, they could. . .

Who knows? We are all different. Tripping for me lost all meaning until I caught up with it. It took me over a decade without psyches to even begin to get a handle on my LSD trips.

See the link in my post above. Things can turn very nasty, which is why care, purity of intent, respect and attention to integration is paramount with this stuff. I have had a few ass whippings, but I got the message long before an ass whooping off that ^^^ magnitude happened, thankfully. Treat it with respect and you will find that 99% of experiences are lovely

It's just my opinion but I strongly believe that if one has no clear intention or purpose behind taking the DMT whether it be philisophically or spiritually based then usally the DMT will actually reject that person eventually. I know there are lots of people that think recreational DMT use is a perfectly harmless activity, I am just not one of those people.

So I'm just wondering if you had any reason for using DMT besides just wanting
"to travel down vortexes and **** " as you put it?

I'm not tyring to be supercritical of judgemental towards you, just sharing my viewpoint as someone who has had literally hundreds of encounters with very bad scary things over the years.

Yup that's what it's like. That is one of the best descriptions I have read to date of "darkness".

thank's for posting that Purges....

also, in my mind it is worthwhile to note this quote taken from the OP of that thread..

"I had begun using DMT somewhat recreationally by journeying every night and this was the spices way of telling me NO MORE!"

Nothingness. It is where we are all trying to get to - no worries man. But every day I think would be too much, like drinking every day would decrease its fun-level. But those things make for an awesome short-term experiment. Peace.

DMT is like most other psychedelics as far as tolerance and meaningfulness. Do too much too often and they either stop working or just become meaningless tips with no structure. I know what it's like to get caught up in the fascination of these substances but it's interesting how your brain rejects it after too much use or misuse. Best thing like everyone is saying is too take a break. I'm kind of going through the same thing so I'm now going to focus on using the the lessons learned from hyperspace in the real world.

Thanks for the input everybody
Yea i definitely started to get 'jammed. I don't know how I'm really supposed to let it integrate or process .
I also wanted to try a psychedelic, and I wanted to see what I could see, or it show me.
I wasn't using a lot maybe like 20mg but yea. It's like I was in the midst of a loading screen just grinding away :(( not a desired experience . I'll wait longer before use.
How does dmt work though? How does one get such detailed visuals?

How does one dream? How does one manage to percieve any reality at all?

These are all great questions...

do you really want to know the answer????
that is the question you must ask yourself :)

approach entheogens with respect that they are teaching tools, by using them to "feel good" one eventually will come to an experience or true irony. this too helps you learn. take a break if its no longer doing what it can for you, perhaps you need time to integrate. try once a month, and before you do, meditate, and clear yourself of everything but your intention on the spice experience. let yourself feel it fully, i prefer between 2-4 am
