DMT Water Extraction?

Hi,

Could I simply boil a bunch of MHRB powder in acidic water for two hours, then filter out all the mush and collect the liquid, evaporate it, and be left with a powder containing high amounts of DMT which I could somehow extract further?
I realize that the DMT will be in acid form in the powder and not freebase.
I was wondering what I could do with this to transform it into freebase DMT crystal.
If anyone has any suggestions or advice it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
 
I thought that maybe I could mix the residue from the evaporated liquid with washing soda and add water to make a paste, let sit for an hour, then pull with IPA?
 
It can be done, but be prepared for lot of mess and extra work. Drying down the resin will be a very long process and I you will probably need excess amount of washing soda for freebasing.
 
protostar - It might be a good idea to browse the forum and wiki a while, as this question is more than answered in the information contained therein.

Trying to come up with time-/effort-saving short cuts isn't that simple. As blue.magic points out, evaporating a whole load of water takes time and/or energy, for example.

Anyhow, you'll find a whole (stickied) thread basically covering the principle you're outlining. Have a look for it.

please learn to read properly, what I'm asking here is totally different than what i've asked before.
 
Most extractions are covered in the Wiki, but I see the difference. Is it hard for you to get caustic soda? It can be very easily extracted using this and vinegar and lighter fluid.
