This will be swims 2nd pull. First time he did STB. This time around he wants to try A/B but he has a few roommates. Swim was just wondering how bad it smells during the acid cook? That will let him know when he should do it.

Thanks.

Oh yes there are. SWIM told me that the whole house smells, especially if vinegar is used as an acid. And the plant material itself also smells. Not bad though, it is an OK smell.

He loves boiling cactus, the whole house smells something like aloe vera, but his gf things it is utterly disgusting.

SWIM did an A/B extract (Marsofold) in his secret garage :) and honestly SWIM thought the smell was going to be alot worse than it was. SWIM kept the lid on the crockpot and there was a little steam coming from the edges and it honestly DIDM'T smell up the garage. A very slight odor, but barely noticeable.

Lets put it this way...SWIM had the garage door cracked and SWIM walked out about 30 ft from his garage and couldn't smell anything. :)

So you should be good my man!

Indeed, in an instance where vinegar is being used as the acid, your space will most certainly smell of vinegar-mimosa. However, if one uses hydrochloric (or other) acid, one's space will simply smell of stewed mimosa (which, btw, isn't a 1/2-way bad smell. . .burnt mimosa, on the other hand, well.....)
