When I go to sleep, my mind slips unconscious, time imstantly leaps forward and I'm awake. I'm not sure if I dream or not. When I'm close to waking up, sonetimes I have a sense that a narrative is going on. However I don't literally "see" or "hear" things. Is this just an imaginative state or am I actually dreaming? It seems out of my control and I think it actually happening to me. I've never understood the concept of dreams being color or black and white. My eyelids are always pitch black. (Unless if I rub them then white lights appear.)
What I'm afraid of is that I don't dream at all. I feel like the universe hates me. Could someone tell the universe to look after me or something while you're in a dream? Sorry if this sounds ridiculous but yea...
I'm afraid I won't experience any effects with dmt. If that's the case then I'll just have to be a materialist and believe that consciousness is an illusion. I really hope that doesn't happen. I'm just worried that my brain is messed up or something.
Thanks. Sorry this is in the wrong section. I can't post this anywhere else.

i myself am a very spiritual person, and i constantly am trying to enhance my dream remembering skills. idk if you believe is using stones or crystals but i have found jade to be incredibly helpful to keep unnder your pillow. it is know as the dream stone. also theres calea zacatachichi or "dream herb" used by the native indians of central america to enhance dreaming
