Does spice need to be evaporated onto changa to work?

Migrated topic.

I have read a number of different recipes for changa and they all call for dissolving the DMT in Ethanol or another solvent and evaporating them onto the changa / enhanced leaf mix. Is it possible for one to just mix your changa herbs (Caapi, Passion flower, Pau D'arco, ect...) directly with the DMT or does it only work when it is evenly dissolved onto the herbs?

Please post any experiences if you have tried this.

I have Passion flower, and Pau D'arco that I was planning to use as an additive to changa once I get some Caapi leaves but I have yet to order the Caapi and wanted to experiment with a "dry mixture"

I will report on this if I do bioassay the dry mixture later.

pau d arco is not worth adding IMO..it is like smoking sawdust. If you just mix DMT with the herbs without actaully infusing it it wont be evenly dispersed..you can sprinkle the DMT on top of some caapi leaf and then put a bit more caapi leaf on top of it and smoke it that way in a bong or something..just dont burn the DMT..let the flame light the top layer of leaves so it vapes the DMT..

I did end up trying the Passion flower by itself.

I felt a light stoning high that resembled a cannabis high. (I might have gotten trace amounts of marijuana from resin in the bowl) but I feel like the passion flower did have it's own qualities that made it feel different from a weed only high. Possibly this is my brain playing placebo effect, regardless I enjoyed the lightly euphoric and relaxing high. Although after hitting the passion flower repeatedly I do feel a minor head ache. so I would limit the amount one smokes at one time.

I just put dry leaves on plate, spread some dmt evenly all over them and put the plate under the table lamp close to bulb for few minutes until dmt turn into liquid . Then I turn off the lamp and let dmt dry. Result being sticky dmt rich enhanced leaves.
I extracted caapi alkaloids so I just put some tasty leaves, harmalas and dmt in pipe or roll a spliff and smoke that. It's nice to put harmalas at the beginning of spliff and concentrate all dmt rich leaves close to the end of the spliff so to be able to suck all dmt in one inhalation having harmalas active in brain already.
I used a solvent (butane for torch lighter) to make changa before, but not anymore.

I find pau d'arco adds a nice sweet piney flavor to changa. But I don't enhance it, I just crush it up and sprinkle a very small amount in the bowl on top of my changa. If you use too much then yeah, its harsh and tastes like a camp fire!

Some times I'll mix some powdered DMT with caapi leaf and other herbs like lotus, salvia, mullien and brugmansia and roll a joint for a very nice trippy smoke that can get really deep and unreal.

Experiment and see what works for you.

JUST DON'T BURN THE SPICE!!!

When leaves are infused and smoked in a pipe surely the DMT is burning a bit as well as vaporising a bit?
I understand that changa should be smoked gently and not burned fiercely, but it seems so potent that it would barely matter?

Is it that burning the DMT destroys it or just that it tastes bad?

Beh... Swim burns it and it works just fine...
Isn't a problem just evaping it in some 151 vodka or Rum... Just another step. Super easy and worth it IMHO.

About how much herbs per gram of DMT?

I use 1:1
I've sometimes used slightly more herb than spice with no noticeable difference in the effect. (1gram of spice to 1.3grams of herb.)

With this mix one slow, gentle long pull on a 12inch glass pipe normally blasts everyone into hyperspace.

Is there a great difference between drinking rue or caapi, and when MAO'I'd, vaping DMT???,

-Surely changa is a weaker, but faster acting version of this, and if so "why the rush"??

-(I mean the maoi is all about creating a base for the spice to become more "ayahuasca like", so surely it's better to drink, than smoke them??)

---or am i wrong, and missing the point of the "joint" simplicity?? :?

The cap leaf when smoked dirrectly inhibits mao in the brain allowing for a very direct experience with caapi and spice. The experience can be drawn out for several hours through appropriate smoke timing and can give one a very clear experience without the somatic distress accompanied by oral ingestion of the tea. But as always the preference of the ingestor dictates which is better.

Do you use a caapi extract or plain leaf?

Thanks, Dorge for that.

-So, if you're ok with oral maoi, and good with timings, it should be similar kinda experience then??

--Ayahuasca, rather than simply spice like ??

1:1 ratio 10x caapi changa and spice. Anything else in the mix is just fluff!

--WHAO!!~iS this changa better than oral maoi and smoked dmt, or is this another one of those "fashionable gosh it's cool to smoke a joint moments" ?? :surprised

Changa can be prepared in many ways.

There are some out there who tinker.

There are some out there who get down to business!

10x caapi and DMT in a 1:1 ratio, anything else is fluff! IMO

I like fluff, I'm also interested in 10x caapi. I think I'm going to do it with IPA, is that how you do yours?
(IPA is a type of beer over here in the UK "Indian Pale Ale" but I understand that I'm not going to use this. HaHa)
