Duff, Vapor Poo, or post puffs, and oil recovery for topical application

Migrated topic.

Just curious about the idea. I have ounces of vaped cannabis, that still had lots of goodies in it. I just jar them and well, its begenning to make me wonder why i'm keeping the stuff if i dont like to vape the oil extracted from it.

Which led me to topical applications. Has anyone ever tried this?

More specifically for arthritus, muscle aches/pain, or any cannabis applicable medical issue.

I have a special sauce i make with hemp lotion, tiger balm, and linamint, and was thinking how a bit of "post puffs" (as i like to call the remains  ) oil made with butane, or better yet clean heptane then acetone to evap the trapped hydrocarbon solvent, and a vac purge, might spice up the mix.

I use the stuff for muscle aches, and don't get me wrong, it kicks ass at that. But i'm always looking for additions to my recipe, and this got me thinking about a bit of post puffs oil in the mix.

Any personal experience, advice, or scientific critique/overview of how it may help is welcome. Also how psychoactive it may be. I'll try it myself here soon, just wondering if anyone has any well appreciated input to offer

Peace-

Just found this pdf regarding topical application of cannabis oil-

topical cannabis

Think i'll give this a go on my weekend coming up here in a few days. Sounds pretty promising for localized pain/inflammation relief without much cns activity (what i'm after, i do not like to be under the influence of cannabis while at work, or in situations where it would make me anxious/uncomfortable).

So i had a bit of BB kush, and og kush wax left over from filling my omicron pen vape cartridges, and i mixed ~ 75mg of the stuff with some tigerbalm, linamint, and jason brand hemp lotion, prob about 5ml combined of salve.

Heated it with a hair dryer and mixed well, and so far its kicking ass at helping with the soreness/pain from falling asleep on my couch last night. Only needed a few dabs of the salve as well. Was too lazy to do a post puff extraction, but this definitely works pretty good and the linamint/tigerbalm feels like it helps the oil get to the knot in my back more effectively.

I'm already a bit stoned from vaping with my omicron, but i definitely feel like I'm getting more pain relief with the salve, and don't seem to be getting a mental high from the salve.

Definitely recommended for topical localized pain relief. All of those ingredients by themselves work fairly well, but that bit of wax really synergizes to make it good medicine. That and a few grams of ionic magnesium citrate melts all the tension and soreness right away.

Now i want to try it with one of those super medicinal predominantly cbd indicas I've heard about. Kushes work good, and have a fair bit of cbd, but i've always been itching to try one of those 50%+ cbd oils/waxes.

Worth a shot if you have muscle pain on a regular basis.
