Eating dmt-containing plants without boiling

Hi guys,

My cats have been experimenting with capsuling chaliponga. One of my cats in particular has experienced zero nausea at all after eating 7g of powdered and capsuled chali, 30 minutes after a 150mg dose of harmala/harmine extract.

His next experiment will be perhaps 12-15g of chali, but this cat is sick of swallowing capsules and might make a brew for such quantities.

The question is, is it possible that brewing chali would actually result in a stronger experience then eating whole? On the one hand eating whole ensures that every molecule of DMT makes it to the stomach, but perhaps brewing enables a higher percentage of alkaloids to actually be absorbed? Or perhaps brewing just affects the rate of absorption? In any case one of the main benefits of brewing was said to be a reduction of nausea, and this cat has yet to experience that being a factor at all.

Thanks for any insights!

Boiling should make the spice more bioavailable by converting to simpler salts, given enough available simple acids. DMT tannate will work, but may not be as fast.

A point that is often glazed over is that DMT is a 5-HT3 agonist. Unless you are lacking these receptors, it WILL make you nauseous and likely purge soon after it makes its way past your MAO enzymes.
