Estimated naptha evap time?????

hey guys, i'm just wondering about how long the vm+p naptha I used should take to evaporate to approx. a 1/3 of the original volume. I followed the DMT for the Masses tek for the first time, followed all steps to a T, but because of the large amount of naptha used it only slightly precipitated out after 36 hrs. in the freezer. After realizing why it was taking so long (not concentrated enough naptha:DMT ratio)I pulled the collection jars out of the freezer and set them out on the counter with a fan gently blowing and cheese cloth over the top to keep out dust, etc. I'm wondering if this is a normal time table or if I should set up a warm-water bath to speed evap before freeze precip again, pour each jar into a large flat bottom pyrex, or if something else will work better. Any help greatly appreciated.

i think there is no estimated time for naphtha to evap, it depends on a lot of different conditions , instead of evap, why not separate the pulls
into smaller portions and stuck it in the freezer on the coldest setting , it could be that you are trying to freeze alot of it @ the same time , and that takes awhile, evap takes even longer but you get some pretty crystals(that they all going to melt when you smoke it), so just freeze it scrape the crystals and save the naphtha for further extractions, patience is a virtue but sometimes we just can wait ;)
hope it helps

thanx for the reply, this site has been a lifesaver for SWIM. I think my problem was that there was too much naptha compared to the amount of spice dissolved in it. SWIM let the jars sit out for about 24 hrs. with cheesecloth over the tops of jars to prevent any dust, hair, etc. from contaminating the solution. Jars have been freeze precipitating for about 48hrs now and there are some absolutely beautiful clearish/white crystals covering the bottom of collection jars and loads of spikey looking ones attached to the sides of the glass. Like you said Mr.Shroom, patience is def a virtue. This batch is lookin like SWIM's most successful to date. SWIM's thinkin about pullin them out tonite as they seem to have stopped precipitating, and there are more jars ready to go in, but as is, unfortunately no more room in the freezer w/o food. Thanks for all the help everybody, these are my first posts but i been lurkin for some time now on here, the knowledge dispensed on this site is like gold. Happy travels in hyperspace all!!!
