There's a lot of back and forth and debating this topic in the DMT, THC corners of the internet.
People say "Evap a drop of solvent on a clean mirror and there should be ABSOLUTELY nothing left behind". Are those of you who say this actually angling your mirror and shining a light source at the mirror?
I have tried multiple solvents, different mirrors and different cleaning methods. Some of the shitty solvents I have used from hardware stores leave a actual oily drop shape with white residue. However most the recommended ones that are known for being clean are JUST leaving the outline ring. The actual interior of the droplet shape is flawlessly clean. I can only even see it by turning the mirror and shining the light from the side of it.
Is this passing? Or should I legit, despite the angle, and despite the light source not be able to see ANYTHING AT ALL?
My rational brain has a very hard time believing if there were impurities that after it evaporated, the would make themselves visible through the ENTIRE shape of the droplet and not just the outline? At the end of the day how would the solvent only move to the outside of the drop to inhabit that space?
Please help me here.
