I do not want this question sound stupid cos I thought the outcome of the test is self explanatory but I am going to ask anyway just to make sure that my intelligence is in working order :)

I have posted previously thread about evap test I have done. I used different types of naphtha. On the company website, I bought this particular naphtha, in item description its says that this product also contains rust inhibitor. So logically this product should definitely leave some trace after evap shouldn't it. But it did not.

Should I believe ,that even what was stated on the company website, the naphtha is clean and can be used for extraction ? Surely if there was some rust inhibitor in it, it would show up after evap would not it ?

What may happened is that company used this false and misleading advertisement just to attract more buyers (not like us though :) )

What do you guys think ? Is it safe to use it or not ?

Why are you buying this product, if you know that it contains unwanted chemicals?

I does not say on the product I found out about it after I bought it on the company website. It was very good price, smells like ronsonol or zippo lighter fluid. Its cheap also.

I bought 2 liters of the same fuel, evap test on 20ml left no residue. On the UK bottles there is no mention of rust inhibitors so maybe it's just the US version that has it.
Also done a re-x which left clean white crystals :)

That decision will have to be made by yourself Smoker, i'm using it as we speak but I take no responsibility for other users.
I read somewhere that the fuel containing rust inhibitors is a clear green liquid, this one i'm using is colourless.
