Hello, I have never done an extraction and I am planning to do the first one, starting with Mimosa hostilis, I do not know the process very well however I know that I need a solvent and in my country (Venezuela) it is almost impossible to get butanol or naphtha, the non-polar solvent that came to mind was thinner, but I do not know, I do not even know how to get to the crystallization step but I want to solve the solvent first, any help, advice or link I would appreciate it very much

Try looking for heptane or hexane. You can also try toluene or xylene if you don't mind getting goo instead of crystals.

make sure you do an evaporative test - i read that ronsonol was a bad brand that usually leaves residue so make sure that you test it and if you get a oily patch try to find another brand that evaporates clean. This goes for all the solvents of course. watch out for smudging it accidentally with your fingers

You should look into The TnT Tek it takes vodka and calcium hydroxide as your materials. read the whole thread. It's for oral use but you can get a vaporizable product - the safety of 'smoking' this has not been evaluated though but if you want pharmahuasca this is a very good option!

There's this one too Extracting DMT with ethanol, vinegar and sodium carbonate i don't know if its very effective

Can you get Ethyl Acetate? If you can then you have HIELO as an option - this makes dmt citrate which is good for vaporizing in an e-cig device (Sub-ohm device specifically but i think RDA works too, not sure) - I don't know how to convert dmt citrate to freebase - I'm still waiting on someone to help me with that in official extraction help thread
