Extractions of TA from Iboga

Hey everyone! So I have some Iboga plants that I am trimming roots from and wanted to try a Total Alkaloid (TA) extraction. So my question is... I am quite experienced with the Q21Q21 tek...would this tek work for Iboga TA extraction??? Thoughts? One would think any alkaloid could be extracted from any plant using the Q21Q21?

Why not try this tek by the good man, bancopuma? It is food safe and supposedly very effective. It seems better than the methanol teks that are out there. I have yet to try it out but plan to in the near future. Good luck!

q21q21 looks like it would work fine... but its basically the same as the bancopuma tek but written for mimosa insead of iboga bark. Ibogamine alkaloids have the nice behavior of crashing out of fairly dirty basic solutions so the most common tek doesn't involve any NP. You can even soak your ground up plant material in acid a few times and then evap to get a crude (but high yield) extract.

On another note... I wonder why you trim the roots from such small plants. It seems more productive to just repot them into bigger containers so they can grow to healty, strong, happy plants that will produce more rootmass faster.
