@EmeraldAtomiser
I eat a lot of wild lean meat and late season Black Bear provides a lot of really nice fat, especially if they have been hitting the Berry bushes b4 Denning up. The berry's flavor the fat of the besr to an extent
In the years I fail to fold a black bear tag, I'll hit up the
hutterites to get some pork fat to cut into my sausage and ground meat. The hitterites have free ranged animals thst are not grain fed and pumped full of hormones.
my updates said i was quoted in this post, but i am not

my guess is you edited your post.
after reading OP i think it might have had something to do with my comment in another thread about my grain free diet? i'm locked in now so here i am, i will get involved
i also avoid eating meat that has been fed grains and hormones, antibiotics, etc (bovaer being the latest attempt to destroy our blood lines). i eat grass finished beef only, not to be confused with grass fed, which can mean they have eaten grains their whole life until the last small window, then fed grass for long enough to legally get away with writing grass fed on the packet.
i eat a good amount of fruit and veg too, i don't focus on meats. i'm not sure you can even get your full nutritional needs from only meat. i actually think i might be eating too much meat as i have it multiple times a day and i think i should only have it every few days, but i am thinking about that right now. my diet is always changing. maybe i will become a vegetarian or a pescetarian at some point, who knows. probably not, i will probably just cut down my meats.
i eat organic fruit, veg, etc, and i try to source what i can from local farms where i can visit to check them out. the organic stamp is not enough for me. you can legally use plastic mulch and still get an organic stamp. fortunately there are still farmers who take pride in their work, you just have to find them.
of course i grow what i can but i can't grow enough for the whole year on my small plot of land. i plan to guerilla grow a lot of food in the coming years. oh! and i forage a lot too. the healthiest foods are everywhere in nature.
i avoid all the obvious things such as nitrates, questionable chemicals and additives, etc. i eat very little sugar but i am working towards stopping eating sugar completely, apart from what is naturally in fruit and veg, of course.
as said above, i do not eat grains (which is possibly the cause of inflammation OP is experiencing). i used to get rheumatism since i was a small child, i was told it would be with me forever and that i might need to be in a wheel chair when i get old. i used to get severe pains in my joints every few weeks. after a while of quitting grains it completely went away, i have not had a joint pain since. i can now sit cross legged too, which i have not been able to do since i was a small child.
i fast once a year too, for 3 days, but have been thinking about doing it maybe 2-4 times a year or more. apparently our bodies benefit a lot from it. for me the main noticeable benefits are psychological though.
emeraldatomiser, in regards to your comment about the lack of variety, i had that problem when i quit grains, but after learning recipes from the internet and getting creative i slowly rebuilt my list of recipes and now i have so many options, the thoughts of lack of variety are long gone. that said, i have many more options than you, but i would say get online and look for ideas.
also make sure you are getting all your nutrients. i'm not sure how you can with only meat. maybe you can though? i don't know. if you need to take supplements then you probably need to adjust your diet.
good luck with your diet. i hope it works out for you!
