I'm still fairly new to this forum and have only scratched the surface of the content here. But I would like to add that, based on what I have read so far and how members have interacted with me, that this the most intelligent, articulate and, for want of a better phrase, well-behaved forum I have ever been a member of.
Over the years I have been on various forums relating to various interests, and all have been more bad-tempered, argumentative and intent on misconstruing intentions than this one, by a long way, no matter how innocuous the topic.
That a relatively calm conversation about something as (understandably) contentious as gender roles may happen here is itself testament to this forum, and to it's moderation.
I'm not a woman so I cannot comment on or assume anything about their experiences here. But I do hope that all members feel as welcome here as I do.
