Few question before my 1st extraction

so im using the basic STB pictorial

Questions i have were. I am using Hepatane instead of naptha so i dont pull out fats and stuff as well....

Can i add this right after i emulsify the water as someone suggest u can do with naptha?

Also i saw alot of suggestions about adding more lye to reheat the solution each pull, if i have a limited amount of lye what should i do?

Which TEK in specific are you doing? Because there is more than one. You shouldn't create any emulsions when you're mixing. Emulsions are difficult to get rid of. But yes, you can add the solvent after you've created the based the mhrb mixture. Tip in solvent, stir/shake (stir = usually 20 minutes, shaking 1 minute. WEAR GLOVES AND GOGGLES WHEN SHAKING!) and then wait for an hour to separate.

EDIT: Also, you don't have to add more lye to the mixture once you've created it. Once you start pulling DMT from your mixture it's basic enough for the DMT to transfer into your solvent. Since you remove your solvent by sucking it from the top or using a separation funnel the pH level shouldn't change much from your solvent. Adding more lye is wasting it and if lye is scarce or a watched substance don't.

and i thought u dont wanna shake because that creates emulsions, is that wrong?

If the TEK says don't, then don't. There are shake TEKs out there, so it really differs per TEK.
