First attempt at making DMT (Amor Fati's Tek)

Hello everyone, this is my first post on this website, very grateful for its existence.

This is my first attempt at making DMT and after reading thoroughly every Tek I decided this would be the one to try. I'm looking for advices and for things I should be careful about. I have a few questions about this tek.

1- Whats the best method to break down whole MHRB before pulverization ? Mortar and pestle ?

As I was re reading Amor Fati's tek I realized that this was my only question in fact. lol. More questions will probably arise when doing it for real.

If anyone has tips/advices regarding this take it would be lovely.

Never heard of that tec. I take it it's acid/base? You can do STB with larger pieces, just leave them in the NaOH soln for a day or two, agitating occasionally, then pull. Pulverising MHRB? You'll be there for a LONG time with a pestle and mortar. If it's very big pieces, you'll be better off cutting them smaller by hand with some hand shears or something, then use a grinder. Beware, it is pretty fibrous, and if you try doing a lot in a non-commercial grinder it will probably burn the motor out.
I have used a hand held coffee grinder, but you need to do small amounts in short bursts to allow the motor to cool.
