But have you walked into the middle of an old-growth forest and taken it while surrounded by towering, moss-covered trees and ferns?

I hadnāt until tonight, and now Iām left shaking, face drenched in tears, and just grateful. So grateful.
I love it when I canāt really report what I saw. When it takes me There, the place of The Mystery, a place with no concept of me or time or anything.
WOW. Just WOW.
What a blessing to be a part of it all.
The bullets below are the little notes (proofed) I stopped to record over the next couple of hours as I walked through the forest and along the water, kept in the order I wrote them. Iāve only added the occasional annotation where Nexus terminology or someone elseās description gave me a useful reference point for what I had already experienced.
Iād LOVE to hear about other peopleās experiences with the spice outdoors.
And a terminology question for the OGs here: is āspiceā still the right word specifically for vaporized N,N-DMT? The Wiki seems to use it both for N,N-DMT itself and for a more impure plant extract, so Iām curious how longtime members here use the term.

- I took three long pulls from the vape and started a fourth. Somewhere between the third and fourth, things became so intense that I started to put the pen down, then picked it back up and began to inhale again. I remember thinking something like, āWhat is going on? What is in my mouth? What am I doing?ā And then...

- There was no I. Iām using āIā now because itās the only language I have to separate myself from the experience. But in the experience, there was no I.
- Iāve read people describe being rocketed into an experience and then being able to walk around and explore. Thatās completely different from mine. To be able to walk around and explore takes knowing that youāre there, and knowing that you have something to explore with. For me, I get thrown into something and Iām just blown away. For the longest time I donāt even have the cognizance to look around. Iām just aware. Just experiencing. Just observing whatever it is.
- @kaos.underwave proposed the term ācamera mode,ā and that feels close to how my deeper experiences happen. In the Wiki, itās described as something āforcedā on the traveler, and thatās where I disagree. I donāt feel forced into anything. For me it feels more like being graced with the opportunity not to choose. For once, right? I can just be there and be aware. No decisions are needed from me, which means I can make no mistake. I love that.
- WOW. Thatās what it is. Somehow that one word encompasses the experience, and even writing it brings tears to my eyes.
- As the most intense part of the experience started to fade, I became aware of my body. I looked down at my seated form and lifted my arms in amazement. The feeling was, Oh my God... thatās me. Mind you, I still couldnāt really see the forest yet. I was still somewhere else, or perceiving everything in some other way that made the forest unrecognizable. But I recognized me now.
- Then the forest started to coalesce around me. Holy crap... Iām in the woods. The trees seemed to be looking down on me, pulsating with energy. Every plant around me did. It felt like they were sending love into me, helping usher me back from the experience and back into this reality.
- And somewhere right in that transition, as the DMT world was giving way to the forest, I looked down at myself and had this distinct feeling: āLook at you... just a little fairy sitting in the woods.ā

- My God, it was BEAUTIFUL.
- It felt like seeing Truth, capital T. And there is nothing one can speak about it. I think thatās what it is. How glorious.
- Toward the end, as awareness of āIā and my body started to return, I felt like I was being told that I had been shown this as a gift. Because I could handle it, or I wouldnāt abuse it, or something along those lines. But for real, Iām not even sure what I was shown. Because for the majority of the time, if there was an āI,ā it was so awestruck that I wasnāt aware of me.

I can recognize this gratefulness feeling when doing DMT outdoor.
DMT often gives me an intense cold feeling. Not always but quite frequently. I remember one time in the middle of summer - it was 34°C - when I found myself shivering on the deckchair. I said to myself, "What the hell ? Iām not actually going to put on a sweatshirt when itās over 30°C out."
And all those winter sessions spent shivering, forced to huddle completely under the duvet in the fetal position, waiting for it to pass. And it eventually passes; it's only a temporary feeling. Lately, a friend of mine I introduced to spice told me he felt as though his entire body had turned into ice. It would seem that cold and DMT go hand in hand.
once you experience the wow effect of DMT it can't be used for anything else , same as the word incredible nothing comes close in my book .
