First STB Nomans Tek & Hello Everyone!

Thanks to the nexus and all the contributors for providing safety and information. I spent months reading and learning from this site. So much to learn so little time First STB ever done, using Noman's Tek but adding salt before the initial NaOH. 100g with 5 pulls, total 1.1g. Card in pic weighs 1.9g . Verified later on milligram scale. Very interesting process and the salt during MHRB base before +NaOH helped immensely on the pulls. Held a PH of 12.5 with no heat used or magnetic mixer. 20mg test and level 2 was easily obtained. I am still processing that beautiful experience. A beautiful experience all the same but I will be working towards my breakthrough now. Glad to be on the site and I hope to connect spiritually as well and have some great discussion. Did you put the glass pan in the freezer instead of using 4 jars? Might try it that way. Myself used Nomans tek to the t using 250 grams of mhrb, myself did 4 pulls of 250ml of heptane( used that instead of naphtha) and put in 4 500ml jars and put in the freezer. No crystals though after just about 2 days

Yes I did, I separated the freeze methods to see if results varied. I did first pull in glass pan, 2nd in jar 3rd in glass pan 4th in jar. The glass pan produced a better result, but that could be anecdotal. I think the biggest thing that helped was re-acidification with salt. But I am still learning here as well But the pan made for a much easier collection and everything seemed to look better when you have more surface area for the freeze. Also a tight covering was applied to all freezes. I had issues with separation on the first pull because I caused some emulsion, salt cleared that right up on the 2nd attempt at a pull and I was impressed. If crystals are not forming and you did a STB lye/NaOH I am wondering if your PH level was too low during base? I am sure we have some more experienced users who could shed light on this, but if no crystals form you may have not got a good pull, you should see them at the bottom and around the inside of the jar. If you are seeing none your MHRB is still good you just need to figure out why its not pulling.

Hey Hey! Sounds like you got it figured out! Congrats man way to work the problem! Glad to hear things are looking good! How did you get it worked out if you don't mind me asking?
