Hi, i've been wanting to try DMT for a while now and I've finally sourced some. Sorry if these questions are stupid, first off would I be able to use a firefly 2 to vape it with the concentrate pads that is provided with it or would It be better off to make what is referred to as "the machine"? What should I be looking for/asking when buying or would it be easier and safer to make it myself? Lastly I was wanting to get the full experience out of it so I was thinking of starting off at 25mg or would it be better to start with maybe 10-15mg and next day go for a 25mg dosage? Thanks in advance for your time, any answers, advice, tips or anything at all would be really appreciated. Thanks

There are a few threads about using an e-cig that can be found with a quick search, but it seems to me that if it will work for concentrates, then it should work for dmt. A temperature controlled e-cig is a plus.
As for dosing, I think you should start low at 10-15mg just to get your feet wet.
It can be pretty shocking to take a large dose of any new drug for the first time, especially dmt.
This will help you ensure your device works well enough, too, because you will have to vaporize pretty effectively to get an effect from 10mg. Also, people react very differently to the same dosage. Some require more than others.

I don't know how your vaporizer works, but from my experiences, vaporizers which work by convection heating with wax pads don't work well.
E.g. if I compare my flowermate aura with the cup atomizer I have now, the difference is huge.
But there may surely be also other vapes out there working good.
But just try. If you can easily vape an introduction dose of 10-15mg in one toke, with all vaped up, I would try it.
The thing is, that the vaporizer should be able to vaporize everything in a very small time window, but without high temps.

I have a Firefly 2+ and I have had some success with it. The most I have put into it was 15mg and that vaporized fine in two tokes at 370°F. I guess it would be safe to ramp up the temperature to 420°F or so given that heat is transferred via convection, but I have not tried that. Melting the DMT into the pads is a bit tedious. What I did was put the pad in the bowl, load 10mg at a time on top of the pad, close the device, and then pull just a little bit of air to heat up the pad and melt the crystals. Also, I would assume that the whiter your DMT, the more often you can reuse the pads.
