Denver votes to decriminalise magic mushrooms by razor-thin margin

The new law, passed by a slim majority in a referendum, is the first of its kind in the US.

Passed with a slim majority of 50.6%. Consequently, they were also the first city to legalize marijuana back in 2005. Could this be the first step of something global and/or inevitable?

A lot of us are excited and elated at this! Denver is an enlightened city where one can enjoy nature, and pursue their own personal spirituality without fear of an authoritarian government.

Denver has become a bastion of freedom entrenched in the beautiful rocky mountains. There must be something in the fresh air and clean mountain water that brings these folks closer to nature. It is my hope that freedom and decriminalization irradiates from this amazing place to free us all from the yoke of tyranny and the neurotic, disfunctional, arrogant, and tremendously damaging criminalization of nature.
