I recently picked up 100 bridgessi seeds, and 100 trich peruvian seeds.

Really looking foreward to cultivating a relationship with this plant, will be posting pics in this thread of progress.

Cooler than average temperatures have helped my cacti this year. The white powder on the top of some is diatomaceous earth for to thwart little nibbling critters. Here's a few pics:

Pic 1 is, left to right a pot of Lumberjack, a pot with a Crested Monstrosa Pachanoi (along with some Domino cacti and a small Mammilaria), and to the right in the foreground is some type of hybrid Wakinyan sent me (I lost the label, just remember it ended in "ensis" )

Pic 2 is Peruvianus, Terscheckii, Scopulicola and one that was sold to me as "Scopulicola x Juuls Giant". That one is about 5 feet tall now...

just got 200 cactus seeds sown lol. started germinating 2 days ago, bridgessi and peruvianus walluac

hope i did it right, just filled 2 circle trays with about a quarter inch of peat, the peat was bone dry. using a standard water bottle, i poked holes in the top of water bottle and lightly wetted the peat in the 2 containers. i then put 100 seeds of bridge in one, and 100 of peruvianus in the other. sprinkled abit more water on top, making sure not to saturate it, then sealed with saran wrap with a label and stuck in my tent with light that gets 78-84.

i find it very interesting cactus seeds need light to germinate

Sounds about right, just go easy on the light intensity, IMEthey get sunburn super easy and in seedlings thats a death sentence, Do post up pictures of your little seedlings when they peek up, love me some cacti seedlings!

I need to order some more Trichocereus seeds to so all I have atm is Lophophora Williamsii and Difussa. Been a while since i've had seedling. might have to find a good source of Trichocereus seed, working on expanding my Pereskiopsis Spathulata stock and plan to graft most of the Lophophora seedling... thinking a winter project though.

I'm looking forward to seeing "Flufferus" Trichocereus grow, I need some quick motivation. could use some new genetics to grow. Might look into some Australian growers Master Seed pack and get some interesting crosses.

Some of those growers have outstanding genetics and with the master packs you get a wide variety of to play with and some well known clone crosses

Onward and upward "Fl00FS Cacti Sanitary" -> looking forward to the little mescaline forest!

I'll eventually start up some other grow logs for Cannabis/Cacti and other Botanicals once I have some things dialed away and some time to invest.
