Ok so Swim is having some trouble locating extraction techniques to make harmala from S. Rue seeds... He is also wondering if he could make his own 10x or 20x caapi leaf to use for changa? Any help steering him in the correct direction would be GREATLY appreciated.

hey guys done a extraction with sodium hydroxide and naptha, when the napta has settle on the top of the solution there is 3 layers, the clear fluid on the top and a slightly brownish layer too and then the rest of the the solution under that, do i just take the clear layer or the slightly brown/yellow one too?

I know that there is a great deal of information on the web about recipes and brewing techniques, and I've found some seemingly commendable ones, but I was hoping that someone in this community could help me out. This is my first time brewing and I am looking for a credible recipe or link from an adept journeyer.

I am new to doing ayahuasca brews as well I have done many STB successful extractions so I do have the feel for hyperspace I have 280grams of Banisteriopsis caapi and I don't have any root at the moment I have tried to do a brew with 40grams MHRB and 90GRAMS Banisteriopsis caapi it did not work I did soak both in white vinegar before but alot of brew use leaves rather than MHRB what is best? looking for a simple brew tek thanks.

I just got working on my last batch using the MHRB lye solution where you put a layer of Naptha in, shake it, pull the top layer of Naptha off once it settles and then freeze to crystallize. My problem is that the Naptha layer on top of the Mimosa/lye solution is too dark to pull and I've had it going for little over a day. Though you can detect a separate layer. It's not falling out of solution very fast.

My question is do I need to just wait and it will eventually clarify, or do I need to do something else to salvage this batch. Normally it would be clearer by now.

Cool, thanks. I'll try that. Do you just mix the Na2CO3 in and the Naptha settles out better or is there some kind of other way I have to do it? I suppose I'll figure it out. There's probabaly a thread on here with all of the troubleshooting, though I guess that's what this is about. Thanks again.

Depending on how many ml of Naptha you have, take anywhere from a couple of pinches up to a few grams of sodium carbonate, mix it in 10 ml of water. Then add your Naptha and shake it up really good. Let the two separate. You will see all of the garbage settle to the bottom. The top layer should be clear Naptha...mine was yellow because it was recycled. I wash my Naptha everytime now before I freeze precip.

Btw you can make sodium carbonate by putting baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) in the oven for around an hour. I weigh out the baking soda before i put it in the oven. Once it loses a third of its weight you have sodium carbonate.

SWIM want's to get to hyperspace... for years now... :love:
Swim did a lazy mans tek and pulled some yellow/orange stuff.
SWIM tried several times to go to hyperspace and failed only hitting limited visuals.
How can SWIM turn this yellow stuff/organge to pure white? So that it is stronger?
SWIM do see some white crystals in the mix but SWIM only has a little bit more and wants to go to hyperspace.

How can SWIM do this? :oops:

lightbulb vape used.
not sure how much is being used. Do not have a scale. I know too much to use in one dose is being loaded. the spice melts then bubles then smoke forms. SWIM holds light more than 2 inches away from lightbulb vape.

from what swim reads only the first 30 seconds of vaping gets used to get to hyperspace. so 3 hits 10 seconds each?

Hi Nexians

I'm in a bit of a predicament. I had a redundancy note from work today and looks like I would have to move back to my parents house until I get another job and my own place again.

However, due to respect of my parents and of the spice I won't be able to do any extractions.

Is there any MHRB teks I can use that don't require freeze precip cuz I have a plan.
