My final stage in extraction is the freezer. My solution has been in the freezer for 5 hours and us still looking cloudy. Does that sound right or did I do something wrong? I have never had it this long before and I followed the extraction steps perfectly as I have done in the past.

You haven't given us enough info IMO.
What tek are you following? Was your non polar solvent cloudy before you put it in the freezer? or was it only cloudy after being in the freezer for 5 hours?
This could be a saturation problem, but it is hard to tell when you haven't given any information regarding ratios and such. If you put too much naphtha (if that's what you are using as a NP solvent) then it may not be saturated with spice enough to crash out when in freezing temperatures. Also, you have not left it in the freezer very long... Patience could be your friend on this one and after leaving it 15 more hours, you may start seeing white crystals begin to form. If you don't, then evaporate your solvent by half and stick it back in the freezer.

SWIM just finished his first extraction this morning, after 24 hours of freezer precipitation there was a fair amount of crystals, there was still a good layer of naptha left also( half an inch), SWIM started to separate the solvent and scrape the crystals out, after 5 mins the crystals dissapeared, SWIM was surprised at first, but read up and realized (of course) at room temp it re-dissolves. SWIM read that you could evaporate the naptha in open air and the crystals would reappear, SWIM put the baking dish next to an open window in the bathroom with ventilator on before bed, upon waking there was hardly any naptha left and NO crystals!!!! What happened!? Did the DMT just evaporate into thin air? or is SWIM mistaken and these aren't crystals but something else???? Thanks.
and this was my method. Maybe you can give me some ideas?

I would like to start off by saying that I love this site and it's helpfulness. I would like to know what tek to use for a small yield. I am torn between cyb's salt tek or nomans stb. Which would you prefer for a beginner? Also why does use salt in his stb tek? If there r other teks u guys would like to recommend, I am open to all suggestions. I appreciate any help I can get.
