Forum proposal - Add pray emoji to reactions (🙏)

Would it be possible to add something like as an option for reactions? It could indicate gratitude and complement the existing Like reaction. I suppose the Love () and Care (see image) reactions could also be used to express appreciation, but personally, I’m a bit reluctant to use heart symbols when reacting to male users. For that reason, I would prefer something more neutral, such as the praying hands emoji . I think it would be a useful addition to the available reactions.

I personally don't see an actual need for more reaction options as the ones that exist are sufficient for me. Just out of curiosity, what is causing the reluctance you mention, if it's not personal of course? I've never associated any attachment of strings when using any of the reactions on the basis of the gender of the recipient, so I find it a bit curious.

I like and support the idea of a prayer emoji to express gratitude and/or appreciation (or spiritual devotion when relating to forum members who’ve transcended the bounds of ordinary human existence).

No worries, I like the prayer emoji and wouldn't mind of course. I just think it might be an opportunity for reflection if using a heart/care emoji is making you uncomfortable

I'd love the prayer emoji option. It's so versatile, showing gratitude, nodding to the spiritual, a symbol of acceptance and gratitude, and in ways current emoji don't.

Not a bad idea, I would appreciate it, why the delete-button?

I don't do these emoji-reaction-things very often. I tend to use them sparingly, in my mind they retain more value that way. But that's just me.

Other than that, I would not mind having the and available.
