Freezing Ayahuasca

Hi there, i have recently started brewing an Ayahuasca analogue myself. I used 100gs of Chacruna leaves . A friend and I then drank it after drinking 3gs each of syrian rue , i only had a small amount as this was my first time sitting for someone else and i wanted to be somewhat together. Even off the small amount i had some visuals but only short lived. I had lots of the brew left so i decided to freeze it . A week later i defrost it and simmered it for half an hour . WOw the difference in strength was incredible. The frozen brew was 4 times stronger.

Has anyone else had an experiences with ayahuasca which has been frozen , is this extra strength a one off or is it something i can rely on in the future?

That suggests to me that on the first try a lot of DMT was still stuck in (however finely dispersed) plant material. Hypothesizing, if your gut needs some time to digest the plant material and extract the DMT from it material, the rue alkaloids may have been mostly taken up already beyond the gut and not be present in the gut anymore to protect the extra DMT from destruction by MAO enzymes.

Have you tried combining the thawed tea with rue tea (perhaps also frozen and thawed) and imbibing at the same time? This may also help to increase the effects. My main experience is with pharmahuasca and I find that taking the MAOI and DMT at the same time works best. Traditional amazon ayahuasca is also consumed as a mix.
