Ayahuasca is a brew containing banisteriopsis caapi and in some cases some admixture, usually psychotria viridis or diplopterys cabrerana. Acacia confusa does not exist in the amazon and was never used traditionally there, so calling it `ayahuasca` is confusing,. It would sort of be like calling beer `wine` because `wine is a fermented drink and people use it and so is beer fermented`. To avoid confusion we usually say "ayahuasca analogue" or something to the sort.
(not to nitpick, and definitely not to say this admixture is any less valid than the traditional ones, but I just think we should avoid confusing use of traditional terms)
As for making some kind of resin out of acacia confusa and trying to put it in capsules, it might work, but im not sure how dry you will be able to get it, it might stay more gooey which would be harder to manage. You could try with a small amount as a test and see how it goes (and let us know!)
Just make sure that once you have it in smaller amount of liquid, that you dont use any fire but only soft heat like under 100c, maybe a double boiler or something of the sort, to prevent any damage to the alkaloids or to other substances inside which could make it less active or more nasty on the stomach.
Did you already consume acacia confusa brew in any way? If so, at what dosage? Also what MAOI are you considering taking together with that, and in what dosage?
