Sure it should be possible, however lol, nitrogen dioxide is toxic gas wouldnt recommend it, but then again, so is hcl gas... NO2 bubbled in some water and np would give nitrous and nitric acid according to google. Not sure how you would even easily obtain NO2, do you mean to say N2O nitrous oxide?
Not completely sure, but probably wouldnt work. Couldnt find any info on it forming any type of acid with H+ and apparently is nuetral in water. This is a good one for benzyme.

back in my more adventurous days, I would distill tech grade nitric acid over conc. sulfuric, to give red fuming nitric acid. among the red fumes was NO2; I did this with open ventilation, of course.
there's no good reason to gas a nonpolar solvent with nitrous either. it won't form any salt complexes.
