Geekvape coil cleaning and reusing

Hi,

I've used the Geekvape Aegis legend V non rebuildable for some time now with the same 0.2 ohm coil.

I think around 4 "refills" of 2ml djuice.

As I hadn't used the device for some time I noticed there was sone residual djuice in the container which turned quite dark brown.

As such I had the idea to clean the whole headpiece by disassembling and cleaning the parts.

Now the coil itself with the wick as such also was "cleaned" with vinegar soap salt solution and then water washed.

Can I dry out the coil and wick and reuse it? Or buy a new one?

Or how often should i replace the coil?

I'd rather go for a new one. If some water is trapped in the wick some juice might squirt in your mouth. Coils are disposable anyway so they should be replaced regularly.

I've done a Vodka soak of a tank and coil which cleaned everything beautifully, i left the vodka to slowly evaporate and added the left over PG/VG residue to a new batch of D-Juice, and I never noticed a difference.
I'd question soaking the coil or not if you've had too many dry hits or a hint of burnt cotton taste when hitting it.

I've gotten 2 packs of 5 original 0.2 ohm coils so good to go for now (although I had to cross the border to get them because of very strict anti vape regulations here...). Anyway.
