Goo Question

Migrated topic.

Hello Nexiuns,

I have a question about goo, but first let me set the background so you know exactly what kind of goo I'm talking about.

I did an A/B extraction of ACRB. Freeze precipitated a naphtha pull that was pre-evaporated to about half original volume.
The product was white fluffy crystal mixed with dark gooey material. I then dissolved this into heated naphtha and separated the nap from the gooey stuff. Freeze precipitated the nap and got white crystal. Very nice looking.

I was about to discard the light orange colored goo, but then remembered I had heard that this can be quite powerful, and that some people actually prefer it. So I evapped the remaining nap off the goo and saved it.

My question is: what is this goo comprised of? I know much of it is likely oils and other plant material, but given that I separated this from the purer product, what am I left with now? I haven't tried any yet, and I'd really like your thoughts on it before I do.

Thanks in advance for any insight you're willing to share

Dmt is polymorphous which means it can exist in both crystal and goo form. The goo that will never crystallize is Dmt-n-oxide which is still very potent but usually the case is just that DMT is residing in goo form unless the bark content had an unusually large number of DMT-n-oxide or the extraction had been sitting out for years.

I just dissolve everything on top herb, this skips the time-wasting free-precip in search of "white fluffies" when the extra goos give the smoke an aroma that is incompatible to even the most beautiful incense I have ever smelt (nag champa).

Yes I've read that before, and I was relieved when I did. I was just curious because the goo that I had was separated from the other, more crystalline stuff. In other words, it wasn't the original goo, but the goo that resulted from the separation.

But I get it, this subject has been discussed to death.

Thanks for the link though
