I used to use a Justfog Q16 which was decent, but not good enough. With a 1:1 ratio, it delivered a breakthrough in 2-3 hits, but being designed for MTL and not DTL, it burned through coils very fast, and it tasted like burned plastic or something.

Recently I wanted to get back to tank vaping for the practicality, and wanted something capable of reliably delivering a breakthrough in 1-2 hits, but I made the mistake of getting something way too powerful, the Vaporesso iTank. I haven't tried the 0.5ohm coil, but I wasted a gram of spice in the process of testing it with 0.15ohm and 0.4ohm, so I got a bit discouraged from trying further. The experience was terrible, the taste was extreme, there was spitback, extreme lip and tongue numbing, not what I was hoping for.

So I am asking you guys for your advice, I am looking for something that can handle long DTL hits, deliver a full breakthrough in 1-2hits, won't leak, without being overkill like the iTank. Being able to switch coils while the tank is not completely empty is a bonus.

I use a Kylin mini v2 tank for the last three years and it's pretty good but I'm not entirely happy with it. On the plus side, I can fairly easily achieve a one hit breakthrough with 2:1 liquid. I run it at 30W most of the time. If the o-rings are well seated then it doesn't leak. With a curved glass mouth piece tube I don't get any issues with drops getting into my mouth. The taste is as good as your extraction allows. I use the wire and cotton wick that came with it and neither need changed very regularly. Over time a dark looking layer builds up on top of the clean liquid beneath.

Downsides are that it pops and crackles more than I like. I also cannot change the coil easily while there's liquid in it, that would be a great feature. It's also not very easy to drain.

I have had a dead rabbit destiny recommended to me so might try that.
