Good Ayahuasca read

Migrated topic.
I have a friend that has always been interested in spiritual practice and exploration who would like to learn about ayahuasca. I'm wondering if anyone could suggest a good online article on the subject.

I am not looking for a scientific article, more of a historical spiritual article talking about how it was/is used by shamans and tribe in south america and things like this.

I much appreciate the help!

Ayahuasca.com might bea good place to start. There is a good documentary called, "Stepping in to the Fire", although this is more about how traditional ayahuasca has helped everyday modern people who went to South America to try the brew.

You would really enjoy Wizard of the upper amazon, by F.Bruce Lamb
and Ayahuasca in my blood, by Peter Gorman

you can find .pdfs of the former i believe..but i'm not sure about gormans book. i'd just buy it though cuz its worth it

i'm sure theres articles in the nexus's files section that would be of interest as well

Yea i have a great book called Inner Paths to Outer Space. It talks about other things too like DMT and mushrooms and more but there is an excelent (perhaps the best I have read) chapter on Ayahuasca. Its a collaborative effort. Strasman (Author of the spirit molecule) writes the chapters on DMT.

How ever my friend is looking for a fairly quick read, and on the internet because she doesn't live near me and I can't give her the book. I think we will be having an aya experience in the near future and she just wants to do some prep. I'm sure after it she will be buying the books herself...

Thanks for the help!
