GOT My Answer

I started a thread Here about whether using DMT for amusement was good or bad.

With some great responses I felt at ease with myself about the situation.

One reply was to maybe ask the DMT realm about this on my next journey.

I have put this here as this experience was the weirdest yet ( even for DMT)

I loaded up as usual with 60mg 1:1 ratio of mullien and spice enhanced leaf. With the intention of maybe getting an answer about the previous use.

Now this is hard to explain but here is what happened.

I took the hit in one, held my breath for as long as I could, about 25 seconds.

Not sure why but I kept my eyes open and the first thing I noticed was the colourful patterns were COMPLETELY white. no colour to them at all.

Then EVERYTHING disappeared. The best way to describe it is " nothingness" I don't mean nothing happened, a lot happened. I mean I had a real strange feeling of NOTHING.

The weird thing is, I lost the feeling in my face!!!! I could not tell whether my eyes were open or closed. It was as if a white reality blanket was thrown over me.

I touched my face with my hands and I honestly thought all hair ( eyebrows and eye lashes) were GONE!!!

This totally scared the bejeeezes out of me.

The room came back into view but my face felt the same, my eyelids were numb! I got up and ran to the bathroom to a mirror. thankfully although I couldn't feel them, the lids and lashes were there!! My heart was beating like a nutter.

When I get a bit of a bad trip, I can normally handle it just by sitting there and waiting for it to pass. This was different. this was something else.

As titled, I think I got my answer!! Maybe due to my own bad feelings for using DMT after alcohol previously, and amusing myself with the footy, I maybe encouraged this bad trip from within,

But, I am taking it as the answer and taking it as a lesson. DMT is not a toy. I should never as used it as such. Never did before and NEVER will again.

I'm going to give it a few days, Then Have a return visit to let "them" know I learnt my lesson. respect to DMT. It truly is so unpredictable.

Anyone had a similer trip like this, where it actually made you face numb, eyelids and all? very weird.

That sounds like a rough one. I've never had the numbness you mentioned but I did have a similar thing happen a few weeks ago.

Its not somthing I'm proud of at all but I also came at it with the wrong approach thinking it would be good fun one night.

I took the changa to a friends but then instead we just drunk a bottle of Ciroc and by the end of the bottle the Changa seemed like a fun idea. This is even when I fully knew that its not to be played with but the drunk me managed to forget such wisdom and we pack a bowl.

My friend got a bad vibe even as he was pulling on it but didn't say anything and passed it on to me, I finished the pull and re-lite it for a 2nd without thinking about why or even what I was doing.

Just like you I went to a place of nothingness although mine was dark rather than light. I saw no visuals at all but still in a way I wasn't entirely alone. Somthing was with me and somehow conveyed a message similar to "what did you expect" "of course this is how it is" and I felt the vibe you get if someone shrugs thier shoulders at you but in a loop bouncing between me thinking "what is this" and the message replying instantly again. The feeling of "we have nothing for you today" went on for a few long minutes.

I wasn't sure if you also got a feeling that felt like an otherly presence as you said "a lot happened" or is it a thing where your memory of it is gone?


I think overall, as a warning, I got off lightly since it wasn't totally unpleasent but also not in anyway enjoyable either. It was like what I'd imagine being a plant might be like for a few minutes, a very isolating and simple place.

The first thing I said when I got back was I will never be able to explain what just happened. The following morning I decided it was really dumb and if I'm drinking (especially heavy like that) then its totally off the table and to never bring it along on those nights.

I read so many posts like these and I still went ahead and didn't respect it.

Well, DMT is loads of fun, but, yes, it's no toy. I only use it when I hear "the calling" and that is happening less and less these days, though I used to do pharma every Saturday like clockwork. I think I only do it now when I need a "faith booster", that all my casual fun with it is gone, I've been there, done that, so to speak.

Never have I laughed so hard as my nights with the molecule. Never.

I've never had the numb face, but I have certainly been to a Nothing Place that was pretty terrifying. But for me, it wasn't white, it was the blackest darkness (though it carried no menace whatsoever) I've ever been in. Everything was just GONE. After what felt like minutes but was probably only seconds, I finally found the curtain to my window and the world came back. I'm not sure what happened, I think I just became conscious of a blackout or something. It's only happened once, thankfully, in my early days of exploration.

I had an experience some time in the middle of last month that lead me to questions.

I didn't get sent to a "nothing realm." I was sent to the realm to visit a very very upset entity. I tried to calm it, and it began to get frustrated with me, so I tried to transform it against its will to relieve it of its anger. That was not a great choice either. I wouldn't want to be transformed against my will, I have no clue why I thought it would be a good idea.

I was cast into the in between. It was like a prison - or felt like it anyways. Full of Anger and frustration. I tried transforming that place into something more friendly, and got cast further!

I decided it was time to come home

Usually, when I am ready to come back to this reality, it's pretty easy. I open my eyes and go through the rematerialization process. This time, I opened my eyes, but was not back in my living room, on the couch.

I was stuck somewhere, I thought. Being observed - it seemed. The first thought that came to mind was-

"Hmmm this is a strange place for someone who should be re materialized by now - laughing about what kind of weirdness just happened..." this lead to a bit of concern.

And then, these eyes and fingers appeared as they were reaching out for me. Just before they reached my face, I tried rematerialization again. It seemed to work on the second attempt and I found myself back at home.


I gave it another attempt about 2 weeks later and had another experience that lead me to decide a break was in order.

I'll give it a try sometime in July and see how it goes.

No, I didn't get the feeling of a presence as such! although my memory of the event is rather limited. I remember the feeling of "gone", probably due to the numbness feeling in my face.

Although no presence, I did get a feeling that it was answering my question by giving me that experience. With the pure white visions and completely white screen as such, It was as if stating, " Don't mess with us!!" we can and will scare you. And that it succeeded.

It's funny that's how you interpret the white-out experience because if I had only read the details of your experience without your commentary as to how it made you feel psychologically, my guess would have been that it was remarkably enjoyable...because I've had experiences like you describe that are sublime, so perhaps it's in the interpretation. Surely if you resist, it will be unpleasant, but if not that state could be the peak of all experience potentially. As a side note IME contact with the white light does facilitate a numbing, neutral feeling as opposed to other DMT energies which seem to have magnetic-like attractive/repulsive tendencies upon contact.

Hmmm, This has really made me think. Maybe because it was colourless, and numb and neutral, and not like the normal colourful fractal experience, I may have experienced it as negative. And now thinking about it, if it wasn't for the "face numb" feeling, the actual "white out" perception could well have been pleasureable. Like the basis of reality.

I must stop fighting the different kinds of experience. Looking back on it, I should have even found it amusing that I felt all my eyebrows and eyelashes had fallen off. When I should have realised that changing me physically would be impossible. At the time I just thought " how am I going to explain this to my mates!! " lol
