Contracrostics
Rising Star
I guess I just wanted to say hello to other experiencers, so hello.
I'd been hoping to be blessed with DMT for some years, and figured it would line up with me when it was supposed to. I wound up with the opportunity a couple of weeks ago with someone with a fair bit of experience, and so he came by and I had my first journey. I didn't want to smoke it with weed or anything else, and fortunately he had a good solid method with a crack pipe and 50mg. I put on some of my favorite Chopin, and he coached me through the hits so I wouldn't lose focus, and I could barely take the 3rd hit so I'm glad he did.
It's hard to describe the incredible feeling of gratitude that started in me just then, and still persists, just for being alive and here, and part of something wonderful. I was launched into a beautiful flower with infinite eyes in its borders, and then more and more flowers that seemed to be infinitely blooming. The whole time I was thinking 'thank you, thank you, thank you.' It felt like a return home. The contours of the music were illuminating the outlines of the flowers. There was also a very high pitch, very powerful and 'crystalline' sounding, going in. I spend my life studying Chopin, and since I've experienced his music on DMT I have a hard time not practicing. If I play the piece I was listening to on the piano, a great deal of the experience comes back to me and I can surf the memory again, it's wonderful.
When I told him about it, he told me about the Chrysanthemum, and I've been reading quite a bit on here, what would come up from googling it anyway.
I find it interesting that it's considered a doorway. When he asked me if I felt I 'broke through', I said absolutely, yes, and I still feel that way. I am glad that I resolved me dyed-in-the-wool materialism a couple of years ago, so that I could truly accept a spiritual experience for what it was.
Also I am very grateful for the forum here and all of its incredible resources and chat about the DMT space. I want to try it again, but like I said to him, 'I want to meditate on that for a good long while first.'
Nice to meet you all.
